Managed to hit happy hour and get buy one get one free on the wine. Nice atmosphere and decorations. Can imagine this being a really good local, if only I drank more/ had friends. Friendly bar staff, nachos were nice.

Burgers and pizza were amazing. 2 for 1 on doubles or cocktails. Cosy atmosphere and is close to student accommodation. Savings for students too.

Food was delicious, ambiance was cosy and relaxed. The food was presented very well, but they were brought to the table rather late. Rating on account of my experience today, but I appreciate that it might have been a busy time for them as it is restaurant week. Will probably come back when restaurant week is over. Good experience nonetheless.

Two reasons why I am going to score this venue only 1 star and it is every time I go in there they have one member of the bar staff working. Nearly everyone orders cocktails and this results in ridiculous waiting times.The second reason is that the rear of the bar is always reserved and I am forever getting kicked out before the evening has even started.Yet I guarantee that I will be in there next week making the same observations and enjoying my two for one drinks when I do eventually get them.

Had our engagement party here in the room upstairs. The room is lovely and a bit quirky as opposed to just hitting the local social club. The staff were really helpful with everything and you can just plug a phone/iPod in the sound system for the night. Would definately go back for an event.

Visited last Saturday for a friend’s birthday, based in the function room upstairs, a great space for small private events. Service was brilliant with the barman boylun serving some of the best gins I've tasted. Food was great too!

Christmas night out for a group of 8 colleagues. What a fantastic place, never been before, will deffo be back. Loved the drinks, the food, the atmosphere & the staff. Lovely friendly bunch of staff whom couldn’t do enough for us. Complimentary Prosecco for delayed food was very welcome although not necessary as kept us up to date regularly & we were having a ball enjoying your 241 wine whilst waiting. The food was lovely & great value for money. Can’t wait to come back, thanks for a great evening.

I've never had bad food here, the service is really great, the staff all chatty and lovely. It's quiet at lunch time but in the evenings can get quite busy. On saturday nights they have a live singer who is brilliant and it just makes the atmosphere.

This place has the best ribs I've ever had, you get really large portions for the price and they have a separate price for students which I think is great. The cocktails here are amazing and are very reasonably priced, especially compared to other establishments. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful and it's a lovely environment inside.

Lovely atmosphere, excellent range of cocktails. Although pricey there's discount for students :)
