Noodles King in Newcastle upon Tyne

Been using noodle king for years, the passed two meals have been bland and tasteless the salt and pepper chips were bland and not cooked properly, as was the curry sauce bland. I won’t be going back.

AVOID!We have used Noodle King for years and always left good reviews and not once raised a complaint, but after tonight we will NEVER USE THEM again! Our food was 45 minutes late, freezing cold and swimming in a layer of oil, totally inedible. We phoned the store immediately on opening the parcel and ask them to send the driver back to collect the food for a full refund, Noodle King blankly refused, we were told to contact Uber eats and obtain refund from them! We ordered via Uber eats however Noodle King sent the order with their own driver! Loyalty to this local business doesn’t pay on this occasion. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Had been years ago and didn't rate it at all. Last night we ordered, house special curry, house special singapore chow mein, egg fried rice, salt and pepper chips and a tub of curry sauce. All meat was lovely and big chunks, chow mein was nice anf not greasy. Salt and pepper chips were really nice, cannot waot to try a salt and chilli pepper leat dish next time.Thank you Noodle King 🍜

I live 1 mile away. As of writing this, it's been 2 hours since I ordered and it's still not here. Avoid or you'll just be disappointed. Plenty of other reliable local Chinese out there.

Will never use this place again . Driver was rude . And late . Then food was uneatable to salty . I phone to complain and spoke to a poor young lass who had to delegate to the owner. I asked to speak to him but apparently doesn't speak English. Convenient . . So that's tea in the bin !!!

Usually don't like ordering from a different Chinese takeaway that I normally order from but I'm so happy we accidentally called this place because the food is amazing and you get loads for what you pay for! Will definitely be ordering from here again

Omg!! the worst place to get a chinese!!! Please stay away. Orderd a chow mein and vegeterian yet they added a piece of pork to it! And when i confronted them they denied it not apoligetic at all so soo rude! Plus they wanted ME to prove it. I kept the piece of meat and the owner came at the end of the night. When i showed him it he couldnt deny it as it was infront of him also returned the noodles and sed..'oh well what can you do it happens it was then chefs mistake' they are the worst ppl ever' on top of that he LIED blaintly and said they have a seprate cooker to cook vegeterian options. Just to confirm i rang the restaurant at a later date and the employee that answerd the phone firat of refused to take my order even though i was not going to order i was just checking if they have a separate cooker as i didnt believe him. She said no we do not and we cannot take your order as you have complained before ( Even though it was a test call to check about the cooker, i would never eat anything from there but had to put on a 'pretend' order to check if the cooker situation was real. I would put down 0 stars if possible. No customer service at all. Terrible horrible rude people.!!! AVOID!!

Although the food arrived quickly and the portions were filling, it was bland and tasteless with no colour or appeal. Ever sat down with a nice, cold pint that you've looked forward too just to find from the first sip that it's been watered down? Disappointing.

Unlike the other reviewers, my experience with Noodles King has been very good. When we first started using them about a year ago, they were too busy to cope with their orders and seemed to be getting complaints re. the time it was taking for phone orders to arrive. They seem a lot more organised now. The food has always been lovely - freshly cooked and really tasty! A good veggie range too. The place always looks clean. The staff are friendly too, although I think they could do with more of them as they do seem a bit harrassed due to being so busy at times!
