Pink Lane Coffee in Newcastle upon Tyne

Nice little cafe which was recommended to me by another cafe!There seems to be a lack of cafes in the area around the central station where you can just sit with a coffee and watch the world go by, so this was a good find.

Though not the best independent in Newcastle, they serve decent coffee (a relatively small cup in fact) and cakes. Their location next to the train station is also an advantage.Ps: A good spot to some works - the bar is not perfect to work on your laptop or read a book.

I ordered one of their bagette sandwiches and the filling was rather meagre. Coffee was good, but again, it came in a trendy, small glass on a cork dish. I was expecting something more for my lunch...So, it was just ok...

Really good little cafe. Plenty of seats, plenty of options for food & drinks. I only had a coffee here but I could tell by the smell that everything else was pretty good. Recommended

Passed this place, so many times - decided to call in, for lunch, with my son on Saturday. It's not a very big place and it was busy but we managed to get a little table, at the top end. Menu very much tailored for Vegans, although there are choices for the non-Vegans. My son's ham and cheese sandwich was packed with extra goodies. I had a basic peanut and banana toastie - quite unusual for a coffee shop but, still, very tasty. Cappuccino coffee is divine! Service very quick and staff sooo nice. Only downside: the loo cubicle accesses directly from the coffee shop. Time and time again, because customers didn't shut the door on leaving, we were eating with a prime view of the loo. PLEASE shut the door!!

Aesthetic coffee shop with plenty of seating inside. They roast their own beans; although my picture contains a flat white my wife had a pour over with their Ethiopia beans which was delicious - very little bitterness and lovely fruity notes.

Super friendly baristas, lovely roasted coffee and a nice place to sit and chat with friends. Tucked away in a little side corner, this is a must visit.

Great coffee at the perfect temperature. Super clean and lots of space . Lovely vibe too .
