Pizza Express in Newcastle upon Tyne

I visit this lovely place often! This is the best place to grab a bite, thehe meals are very good and the workers are helpful

Since I have been coming to Pizza Express for nearly 10 years, there is a great fondness in my heart for the place. We were here a few weeks back and really enjoyed it and we took our grandkids there for the first time

I think the worst service ever on this planet for Pizza Express. Waiting for a Pizza and a burned pasta for an hour with the slowest cooking ever. I think everyone should be really patient to be over here or at least to eat something before coming to this awful place 👎🏻. The only star was for waitresses and their friendly attitude, where they are really polite but unfortunately it will be the last time to be there.

Super nice people and great service with amazing menu. Many items for vegetarians and all taste amazing. Dessert menu is also great, lemonade tastes super refreshing. Thank you the good service and great experience.

Would not eat here during covid.Terrible shocked that the Chef making and passing the dishes to the waiter not wearing a mask plus speaking over the served meal to say "service" and what ever else..The food wasn't tatsy at all portions small and nothing to accompany with it.Haved the lasagne and spaghetti bologneseLasagna says it has mudrooms. Not a single in it just sause and mince.I've never been served a SB with pasta that is not spaghetti. It was very sour ( too much tomato) locked salt and pepper and garlic but had cumin seeds and other British herbs. Honestly I could not eat it felt sick to. My other half was hungry so he ate it but even he didn't like it at all.Also so a waiter take off his mask and talk to the chef over a play of food and then pop his mask back on and go serve it.Honestly management needs to have a strong word or this place should be shut down for preparing and serving meals in such a way.Picture of my SB..

Honestly such a great experience, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the food is beautifully seasoned and prepared, and it all looks so appetising! Really enjoyed our experience here and we will be back!

I had pizza and pasta there.. it was amazing , taste was very good as well as service and ambiance was really appreciable ...

Tasty food and great service, however the calzone verdure wasn't cooked through - while the outside was cooked and crisp, the vegetables inside were still chilled (colder than room temp). I'm guessing the courgettes and aubergines came frozen and hadn't fully thawed out? It still tasted great, it's just a shame about the temperature.I loved the rosemary chutney bread, it's a pity it was limited edition for the holidays.
