Pizza Punks in Newcastle upon Tyne

Ordered pizza with pineapple and it came with chilli all over it. I can't eat anything spicy due to a medical procedure. I tried to pick it all off and when I mentioned it to the waiter he just said everyone complaints about the pineapple as it's marinated in chilli. The menu doesn't say this and if everyone is complaining the. Maybe notify people when they order. I have been ill all day.

Nice place , nice pizza, but nothing to write home about. Great atmosphere, better than the pizza in my opinion. The staff is polite but indeed the waiting time is about 30 - 40 min. That being said I would recommend against any Dominos, Hut or Jones. Give it try it might be 5 for your taste buds.

Vegan pizza that I had was absolutely amazing! Definitely ranking among the best pizzas I have had. You can choose whatever toppings you want and how many you want, which is so good for the price! Also the service was great - shout-out to Roberto! :)

Great pizza in the centre of town. £12 for a pizza which you can add any toppings to. Fantastic concept with top quality ingredients. Fun meal out for all the family. I highly recommend this place.

A fun place with a great vibe.We went on a busy Friday night, which it was clear the staff had a lot to do!The staff were super friendly and helpful, but we did need to wait 25 mins for soft drinks...Menu is ace - every pizza regardless of toppings had a max of £12.Can't really beat the tasty at the price.

Amazing pizza! This is honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!!The dough tastes fabulous, and as much as topping you want for only £12, what a bargain!! The size of the pizza is great as well! My favourite toppings are pulled pork, bbq chicken, meatballs and broccoli. The Mac and cheese is decent.Very friendly service, staffs are welcoming.They have a lovely open kitchen and the vibe of pizza punks is amazing! I highly recommend it his place if you fancy pizza!

Great little place which my daughter loved as she could choose as many toppings as she wanted at no extra cost! We booked as wasn't sure how busy it would be on a Tuesday teatime. It was pretty full and it was nice to be able to see the pizzas being made. Lovely friendly staff, service a bit slow due to new staff but no problem and they made sure that we were ok for drinks whilst waiting. Pizzas did not disappoint and would definitely recommend.

Great service, lovely food....same price no matter how many toppings. Cocktail was excellent, full strength, not watered down. Staff super helpful.

I always enjoy the pizza here. The sourdough base is wonderful and the toppings taste very fresh. Cocktails and delicious and strong, haha! Service was super quick and very friendly. Definitely will be returning!

Staff really good, but management could do with some retraining.Watched the manager clean square tables but make them look like they were round, a server clean tables and put the cutlery on a chair only minutes after someone got off that chair. Bins in the kitchen overflowing.We kept getting asked if we needed more drinks all night, (90 mins) 7 times. 1st time being less than 5 minutes of being sat.Wrong menu on the table.Order taken, 15 minutes later server came back to tell us 2 of our pizzas were off the menu, so we ordered others.But when your main gets brought to you before your starter that says a lot.We were asked if we wanted to keep our pizzas in the oven till we had finished with our starter!!!! NO.So we ended up with main and starter together. Well I ended up with my starter 10 minutes later, as it was missed of the order. (they did take it off the bill)All the pizzas were OK, but for a place that shouts out about being different and specially pizzas nope.Overpriced.I can't find the nutritional info on the website, why hide it.As I have never woken up in the middle of the night wanting loads of Water. HIDDEN Salt in the pizzas.Why oh why....I feel like a have a hangover, thanks.Never again.
