Poon's Gosforth Palace in Newcastle upon Tyne

Despite the staff being very helpful and friendly the food was poor, the meat was tough and dry. I doubt we will return any time soon.

Have ate here before when we come down to Newcastle. Great service and the food was fantastic nothing was left on our plates. Staff were really nice definitely be back.

A lovely meal but not very hot. My main course came 5 minutes after my husbands. The same with the sweets. It won’t put me off going again but I think they need to get the timings right and bring out the food when it’s really hot

Great place, from start to finish we could not fault this restaurant the staff make you feel comfortable and safe taking care from the moment you arrive. The food we ordered was the £30 a head Gosforth Palace Banquet there's a good selection to choose from, its served piping hot and it was all delicious, also good size portions.The staff are very confident and attentive taking care and making sure you have everything you need. Well done to all the staff for a great night we will definitely recommend too family and friends and we will be back soon.

Really nice food. Lovely setting. Brilliant staff. Parking just across the road and if you have mobility issues they have a stair lift to get you up the stairs. This is a hidden in plain view jem of a place. If you know, you know.

An exceptional restaurant with welcoming staff and really top class food. Amazing tropical fish tank at the entrance. Has a stair lift. Screening between tables is so tasteful and jn character and adds to the ambiance.
