Rocco Bar Trattoria in Newcastle upon Tyne

Service & food were good! The parmigiana was huge & pizza delicious. I was especially impressed with the Sangria, it had strawberries in, something I've never had before but I loved it. I'd definitely recommend a visit. Prices were good for city centre too.

Excellent choice for our large group. The nexus is extensive and everyone said the food was top notch. The prices were reasonable, too. I would recommend if you fancy an Italian meal. It has great vibe, friendly and efficient staff and very tasty dishes.

The Place is very warm and cozy, the staff are approchable. Delicious italian food with generous servings. The Uno Bruschetta is recommendable. There were a few choices for the desserts but the homemade cheesecake was delicious-it was not too sweet. The prices are middle range and affordable.

Very nice Italian Italian. Great food, lovely atmosphere much assisted by an actual Italian waiter teaching us done pronunciation. Bravissimo!!!

I've been coming here for years but have been away from Newcastle for quite some time. Yesterday I came back with my 2 friends we had the happy hour pizzas and they were fantastic as always. I had the pepperoni and I think the food is the best its ever been. I had potato skins for starters which were cooked perfectly. The lady who served us (I didn't get her name but she was a blonde lady) was absolutely lovely! So warm and friendly and very attentive. Overall another great experience in one of my all time favourite places for lunch! It was very busy so I recommend you book a table.

I went alone, without booking. They put me in worst table of the restaurant. I ordered 3 courses menu. Food was delicious (except the bread which come with the soup), with big portions. Service was great.

When you have to wait for your food to arrive, you know that it’s gonna be awesome and the chef is preparing it just for you fresh. Maybe one of the best restaurants we’ve been the past decade. Aroma of an Italian village and with flavours that explode in you mouth.

Ended up here after Marco Pierre Whites got cancelled due to staff shortages. recommended by a colleague who'd eaten here by chance a couple of weeks earlier. Probably wouldn't have given it a second glace if just passing! Excellent chose , very eclectic interior Fab food, portion sizes great, and value for money. Great location under the Tyne Bridge down on the quayside, will defiantly return when next in the North East

What a great atmosphere this restaurant emanates. The food is absolutely amazing and the mussels are a delight for starters. Service is spot on, no hanging around ,testimony being there were eight at our table.Highly recommended, a brilliant restaurant

Me and my partner have really fallen for this place. The food is so good and seems authentic! We also love the decor, it takes us back to our holidays in Italy. The waiters are all great, no doubt we’ll be back again and again!
