Shark Club Bar & Grill in Newcastle upon Tyne

Visited for lunch and a couple of drinks with some friends. Considering none of us really care for football we're not sure how we ended up here. Certainly not our scene but seems like a great place for anyone that does enjoy football. Fairly loud, but we could still hear eachother. Food wasn't anything to write home about but pleasant enough and not too pricey.

It's been a while since our last visit but today we finally went for cheap (Wednesday / Friday) chicken wings and had a great time! Honestly, I loved the atmosphere and quality of the wings was good, especially considering the price. There's fewer flavours than in the past but the favourites were still there. Our waitress Olivia was really good at getting the drinks correct and took our orders swiftly, and the wings came quickly.10/10 wing night. Tasty with good service.(for the record, there were both people drinking and not drinking on our table and I had a great time even sober. We did arrive for 6pm though)

Wings Wednesdays and Fridays. 10 wings for £4.90. Many flavours to choose from. Jack Daniels wings are the best. Must book to get seated as its always busy on these days. Not the most attentive staff but all are nice and friendly. Love the place.

Wing Wednesdays. 45p per wing is great. There’s loads of screens so anywhere you sit your able to watch any sport. The customer service there is the best I’ve ever gotten from any restaurant. Staff are so friendly and polite. Constantly asking if l need serving and they have food out very quickly I want to fully recommend this place to the point I’d rather not write this review so there’s always at least 1 table.

Beware of the staff say the card machine is not working and ask to swipe your card again. Usually both transactions go through so you end up paying for your drinks twice! Happened to a few of us the other week.Bar itself is a good sports bar. Just remember to check your card statements afterwards (or bring cash)

Be extremely careful dealing with this company. I organised an event at their premises for which I sold tickets. All good and positive until the night of the event. None of the staff on the night knew about it, the contact at the bar had vanished and I had to cancel my event as the resources they said they had, they didn't.I had to refund all my guests and all attempts to speak to the venue since the cancelled event have been ignored so I have regretfully had to begin legal proceedings against them.I would suggest looking elsewhere for a venue in Newcastle if required.

An excellent sports bar with an extremely delicious menu, I absolutely loved everything. Warning: it does tend to get extremely busy so booking in advance is recommended. I thought the prices were suitable for the service and quality 👍🏼

Great bar. Good place for food and drink. Great on a match day as huge screen at bar and also LOTS of booth TVs. You arnt going to miss the match here.

Went here a couple of nights ago! Chicken wings were phenomenal! especially for 45p each wing! First time coming here recommended by an associate and most definitely will visit again! Customer service was okay! waitresses were very nice but often forgotten about due to being busy! but was not a problem at all.

Booked a table before the game and was held for us despite being a little bit late. It’s attached to the Sandman hotel and right opposite St James’ Park.Was packed as expected due to the Newcastle v Rochdale game but good atmosphere.TV’s everywhere and looks a good spot to catch any sport.Waited 40 mins for food but was so busy and was decent when it finally came. Rump Steak Sandwich with rocket & Parmesan was spot on.Kids had burgers and pizza which they devoured.Staff friendly and helpful.Defo recommend if you’re up in Newcastle.
