Lovely authentic Italian cafe and restaurant. The place is quite small but the quality of the food and the service are impeccable. They also offer a great selection of Italian products, including pasta, biscotti and other snacks.

We called in on spec at 12 for some lunch. There was a table free for an hour with an umbrella (which we needed!). There are maybe 5 or 6 tables outside with umbrellas. The cafe is across the road from the riverside with pleasant views.I ordered the seafood salad and my companions a chicken salad and a burger. The food was great, very well presented, tasty and freshly prepared. Staff were friendly and efficient and service was prompt. Salads were about £10 and burger about £12. Total bill for meals, a coffee and 2 Coca Colas was £37.We will definitely call again.

Excellent, very friendly, lunchtime sandwich stop. Pro tip: they're running a reduced menu in the current COVID situation (no pizzas that I could see), so be aware. The paninis, however, are an excellent option...
