Sohe in Newcastle upon Tyne

Went to Sohe last night and I was really impressed. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. Waiters very attentive and polite. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as well. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely food, great service, and reasonably priced. The menu offers a great selection of popular Asian dishes and some sharing plates. We opted for Salt & Chilli Squid, Korean Fried Chicken, Asian Salad, Beef Rendang and a Chicken Stir-fry.

Excellent staff & impeccable service, food & incredients top class, much better than a take away & the cocktails are amazing, decor is very classy, just a very nice atmosphere.

Delicious food , cocktails and excellent size portions. Very reasonably priced with great service too. Will definitely return

One of the fanciest places I have been in Newcastle. Definitely worth a visit, you do need to book in advance on weekends to guarantee a table. I absolutely loved everything I ordered especially the curry 🍛 the service and staff were absolutely fantastic too! A must visit ⭐️

Delightful food. Impeccable service and a very pleasant ambience. Added two pics of the starters as the portions were very generous.

After coming from London to spend the weekend in Newcastle, my friends recommended this restaurant as one of the best and they booked a table for us to enjoy a lovely Saturday night dinner and cocktails.We arrived slightly late to our booking but the front of house staff were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The lady showed us to our table and we were placed on the best table in the house (right next to the beautiful forest style wall feature, excellent for photos!).We ordered cocktails, starters and mains. The service we received was quick, efficient, helpful and friendly. Everything arrived in really good timing so we were not waiting a long time for our orders to arrive and the staff were clearing the table promptly after as well.The food was absolutely exquisite, I had the chilli squid for starters and the Salmon Teriyaki for mains with a side of greens. The Salmon was possibly one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever ordered and I would highly recommend it. The cocktails were mixed to perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish & drink that we received.The bill arrived, I couldn’t believe how cheap it was in comparison to similar restaurants/settings in London! Absolute value for money and would highly highly recommend this restaurant. It will certainly be my new go-to restaurant when I am in Newcastle.

Enjoyed the bottomless brunch with family and we had the loveliest afternoon! Aperol Spritz cocktails were delightful.. good choice of food and drinks on the menu... excellent, attentive service.. we stayed longer to enjoy more drinks as the atmosphere was so nice... can’t wait to return!

First time out for dinner in a restaurant after lockdown! Absolutely great food and service and super super nice staff. Since I'm not drinking alcohol I opted for the mock tail! Absolutely amazing!
