The Bake one have recently added quite a lot of new vegan options to their menu, I have been genuinely impressed with the availability as this was previously not the case. I used to eat here quite a lot before going vegan and then struggled to find suitable options, but now there's plenty available and I have started going quite regularly again. Easily my favorite restaurant in Gosforth.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Newcastle and definitely my favorite Lebanese restaurant. I’ve been there for several times and I had it delivered. The food was super delicious every time. The prices are very reasonable and the proportion is generous. The staff are very attentive and friendly although the restaurant is always busy. And what I like about this place is that it stays open late. I tried their grilled beef and chicken kebabs, musaqaa, vegetable soup, grilled seabass, taboulah, mahalbya, baklawa. Whatever we tried was super delicious and their sauces are so tasty especially their mayo. You might need to book a table on weekends.

Ordered 2 pizzas which were just plain awful, soggy with all the tomato paste coming off which made it basically not edible..Called them to say I understand mistakes happen and to refund me (as I did not want to go and write this and wanted to give them the benefit of doubt)...the person on the phone asked me to text him the pictures of the pizza, and said the manager would get back to me, he never did....Total waste of moneyEDIT: and of course you're ignoring this review

Been coming to the bake for around two years now with no complaints what so ever. At one point through lockdown came around once every week and supported the restaurant throughout lockdown. Was shocked when I received absolutely disgusting service yesterday evening from one of the workers when I politely challenged the total cost of my meal. I'm used to paying the online price when collecting but was charged the full price and was curious why I'd been charged that amount when I've never paid it in the past. He told me the online price didn't exist and what I paid was correct. I think I should know considering I've bought the same meal probably 70+ times and the discount still exists on the website... Hopefully the owners read this review before more customers are lost to this one workers bad attitude.

I have tried this restaurant twice so far and it was excellent in both times. One of the best middle eastern food in Newcastle. Just to suggest to make an option for Tehina along with chilly and garlic sauce and another option for no sauce as I was forced to chose garlic or chilly when I ordered online via just eat although i don't like either as there was no option for no sauce.

The hommos is amazing! The lamb is well cooked and tender, the chicken cubes melt in the mouth and the shawarma is also great. The only drawback for me would have to be the bread that comes out of a packet, whatever happened to freshly baked bread? The staff were courteous and softly spoken, which adds to the dining experience. However, on returning home and thoroughly checking the bill, I noticed that I was overcharged by £7, this was in addition to the 15% service charge (which I don't agree with, as I feel service charge should be the customer's prerogative).
