We love this place. Excellent food, Excellent drink selection and Mr Scuff on the walls. My only criticism would be that I returned a snide fiver that the bar staff had given my wife and I was met with eye rolls and head shaking as if I was being a pain…! Still a top boozer.

Located under the Tyne Bridge this is my favourite pub in Newcastle. Has 2 good heated outdoor areas too.

Visiting Newcastle for the first time and what a wonderful city! This bar had an excellent selection of beers and the staff were really friendly. Add to that the brilliant atmosphere and you've got a winner for a night out.

Really great ambience for a Wednesday evening. Just had a few pints of Guinness, prices are good and the decor is really good. Will be back next time I visit.

The bridge tavern is a great city centre pub, cracking range of ales and friendly knowledgeable staff who will guide you with your selection of the many ales they have on tap. I have eaten here twice and the food was excellent. A must try bar in the city

Great beer selection, nice decor and plenty of places to sit, stand and gather with friends. Big spirits selection too and some great bourbon and whisky on displays. Staff really polite and friendly, toilets clean and tidy for a Friday night. Great place to pop in for a pint.

Brilliant.What a find, doesn't look much from the outside. But as soon as you walk in. Stunning, really nice inside with a bar upstairs leading to a hidden gem of the outside decked area. The food is great, brilliant sharing plates. Lovely burgers. Really good cheese board to share. Top class beers as well. A warm welcome from the staff, friendly and helpful. Will be going back plenty of times.
