What a fantastic venue for Sunday lunch, reasonably priced and top quality. The service was top notch, no hanging around and all done with a smile. The pub is so clean and well maintained with great art work

Went to Earl of Pitt Street for Sunday lunch. Managed to grab a last minute table booking for two.The staff were absolutely incredible, great service and excellent camaraderie made us feel so comfortable and at home straight away. The food was lovely, everything was cooked really nicely, the beef fell apart. The only thing I'd say is that it could have done with a little more seasoning, but it was still very tasty. We had a great time and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a great sunday lunch.

Nice place, nice chairs.Restaurant week visit. Limited menu.Food was ok but starter and main were so small that there will be no return custom from ourselves.Free parking. Wheels were still on the car on our return.Good luck.

Found this place nearby where we are staying for a couple of nights and OMG what a find! The food is absolutely delicious, in fact the smell as you walk on gets your mouth watering. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend you try this place when in Newcastle 😃

Had the most amazing roast dinner here today. Also excellent bottle of House Red. Service was great as were all the staff. Would definitely recommend The Earl of Pitt Street.

Had lunch today. Starter was lovely, main was average. I ordered two drinks which I enjoyed and asked for a third which didn't taste the same. I asked the waitress to change this when the (I assume is owner or manager) came and took a gulp and loudly said it was what I exactly what I asked for, a gin and tonic. I did not order a gin and tonic. I ordered a gin, lemonade and lime. I explained my two previous drinks didn't taste anything like that to which I was told my previous drinks must of been wrong. I did receive a new drink which tasted like what I asked for however the (owner) said he would finish my drink and continued to slam it down on counter after evey mouthful

What an amazing Sunday lunch that my partner and I both had. Its a must. Lovely brownie and pistachio ice cream pudding that we both shared but as I'm allergic to nuts, they put the ice cream on a separate plate for my partner to still have as he enjoys pistachios. Lovely, friendly and accommodating staff. The decor upstairs was great also. We'll be back asap☺

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast. The beef was cooked to perfection. It's just fell apart. Great service with a smile. Would definitely recommend. Ideal date place, nice and cosy.

Two very good courses for £15 was a real pre-match treat. Sunday roasts are top notch too, and there's always at least a couple of interesting beers on the bar. Slightly out on a limb from town, but well worth the effort to seek it out. Quirky decor is interesting too, but I won't spoil the surprise :-)
