Had a fabulous meal today with 6 friends to celebrate an early birthday. Food, service and atmosphere was excellent,especially our waitress called Sarah. She was very helpful,nothing was a trouble an asset to the pub. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you for making my afternoon a special time. King regards Susan Johnson

Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing! I got the trio of meats, my plate was filled with succulent meat, crispy roast and my favourite; honey roast parsnips! The gravy was to due for. Its what Sundays are made for. Plus no washing up. Just perfect!

Nice busy atmosphere it's a good pint never tried the food but it always looks and smells great. The usual drawback not enough staff on the bar so you wait longer than you should to order but all in all its a place that caters for families, couples and lads meeting up so you can excuse them being busy.

Booked for my Mam's 80th birthday. Staff were very welcoming and were attentive without being intrusive. Lots of positive comments from Mam's guests regarding the buffet. Some different items on there and all were very tasty. A big thank you to Kevin and his team. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from initially booking until we left.

Waited 50 mins for someone to take our order and 40 mins for the drinks to be delivered.With appropriately 5 tables occupied out off 30 or so, it certainly wasn't busy enough to warrant them waiting times.However the staff had plenty of time to play on there phones !!!Shocking service with average food, minus 1 is the best rating for this place

Fabulous meal. Fish and chips, tastiest batter and chips like none I've tasted before. Crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Perfect!Very varied menu, not the run of the mill as in some places. Cosy restaurant with a lovely fire . Staff friendly, obliging and efficient.Can't wait for my next visit.
