Most probably one of the best in Newcastle. Six real ales and excellent choice of bottled beers. Belgium features. 🇧🇪. Drank Burning Sky Imperial Stout on cask 8.5. Top draw. Great place friendly staff. Highly Recommended

Rustic sort of place, but also trendy with a lot of unusual craft beers. Pizza van outside does pizza and a beer for £9.

This place is the definition of hidden gem. Unbelievably hasn't changed hardly at all in 30 years I've been going there. Fantastic view up the Tyne from the two massive windows. Most excellent selection of beers, free Juke box, real fire, nice beer garden. A must see for the more Avant Garde cultured drinkers out there 👍

Excellent local pub with friendly staff offering a very good selection of beers. It probably hasn't really changed for at least 50 years. There are excellent views along the Tyne towards Newcastle city centre.

one of (if not THE) best place for a booze in Newcastle. Brilliant selection, brilliant staff and a brilliant view up the Tyne. Bring your dog and I will pat him/her.Top tip - Wednesday night is pizza night featuring 'Scream for Pizza'

Fab location in the sunshine, small beer garden with amazing views of the quayside and all the bridges. Also tried this flavoured beer which I was pleasantly surprised with. Went down lovely.

Fabulous pub. Extensive selection of ales. Sometimes a little pricey, but we'll kept and presented. No bar food, but understand they do sandwiches/etc from local suppliers. I think pickled eggs too and of course crisps/nuts. Gents loo walls covered in messages/graffiti. I've been coming in for 20 years and it's never changed. Fab atmosphere, clientele and of course staff. Just a very welcoming, usually choc a full venue. Best thing are the 2 beer gardens. 1 has the most awesome view across the Tyne. Love this place.
