Decent enough pub and excellently located for the train station which is a few meters away. Haven't tried the food so can't comment on that.

Great pub opposite the main Railway Station! Food was superb! I had the Toad In The Hole and my Wife had the Halloumi Fries with Chicken Strips. There was also a great choice of beers and the friendly staff made it an excellent stop! Happy days!! Also as a tip, sign up to Nicholson’s Pubs and you will get 25% off your first visit…..👍

Nice traditional pub - called in mid afternoon on a Sunday and was pretty quiet. Good range of drinks and meals reasonably priced although we didn't eat on this occasion. Will definitely try it again...

Kids not allowed in, drinks very expensive. Other than that it's fine, but there are much better pubs in the Central Station area.

Gorgeous place! Amazing staff including the doormen, both super friendly and approachable, the pub itself is beautiful and a wide selection of drinks

Fantastic food and a really nice atmosphere. The selection of drinks available is very satisfactory and the bar staff are very nice. A lad called Ollie served me and was brilliant, serving me very efficiently and he was always happy to answer my queries.

Chain bar, nice pint of real ale, friendly staff, across road from station. Does food which is good but bit pricey for what you can get within 5 minutes walk. Still a good bar.

Handily located pub for the station and arena. They had a discount for arena ticket holders on my visit which was good of them. Staff were all friendly, especially the bar man (Ollie) and the female manager (can't recall her name). Fairly good selection of ales available on cask and keg. Good choice of food available. Food was ok, nothing special but nothing to complain about either. Well decorated and traditional feel.

Lovely hotel in a great location with professional and friendly staff, the room and breakfast was excellent, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Newcastle.
