Katie d Abbie f and chloe r where the most friendly and lovely staff who all served me tonight they have such lovely manners. Definitely worth a visit to see these lovely girls.

Nice cocktails and shot options. Friendly and helpful bar staff. The toilets were also very clean and no que.The atmosphere of the place however seemed very suited towards an older crowd however and not a younger more lively audience. Something to watch out for if you were intending to make this place a pit stop for a night on the town.

Great friendly pub with plenty of tv screens to watch the sport. They serve good pub food at reasonable prices. Well worth checking out and close to the football ground which gets a big crowd in.

Service is very good. there is a good selection of food from the menu, and once your order has been given, it isn't a long wait to be served. It is always piping hot and tastes as it should.

Have been visiting for pre and post match drinks for over 20 years. Always drink downstairs. The service has always been good considering its always packed on match days. However after the recent takeover and new management. The service and attitude of staff is shocking. Waiting to be served at the far end of the bar, person in front served. The server walked away and started serving in a different area. After waiting 20 minutes and requesting two different members of staff who were picking glasses. They totally ignored me not even replying. I then asked if anyone serving at this end. I was told no that areas closed. I said it would have been nice to be informed. I was told "I'm telling you now"!

4 of us had Xmas lunch it was really lovely. We were well looked after table was all decorated.2 had prawn cocktail 2 had soup,3 had turkey then dessert food was excellent. Thank you for making our day special and for all your hard work .

We had lovely food at a brilliant price. Nice and bright inside, really clean and a good atmosphere.

Great food and great breakfast which is what I went for, they only put tomato sauce out and didn't get asked if I wanted brown so settled for tomato.They seem to get their ingredients locally which probably explains why the food is good, well thick bacon and runny eggs.My only gripe is your better off buying a coffee and a breakfast sandwich than just getting a coffee as its only around an extra 50p, so the coffee seems costly in that respect.

It is a good pub no doubt about it with reasonably priced drinks and warm inside in the winter thankfully. Not had any food but it always looks and smells good. Language from some of the regulars at lunchtime can be a little OTT although that is pretty much the norm. now in bars unfortunately.Mens toilets spot on.Only complaint i can think of is the banging noise the north door makes everytime someone goes in and out apart from that its 4/5 stars from me.

Visited yesterday, first time in a few year…. Still excellent, good pints n prices , lad n lass behind the bar, very nice good staff Will definitely return soon
