Been going to Trillians for years and it's never changed and I mean that it a good way.Always have top bands on, staff are always nice and helpful and the clientele are top people.Best Rock Bar in the UKPs ignore Rick Masters review, he clearly has issues and a personal agenda!!

Awful. Was great years ago, but is now full of freaks and weirdos. The bands are terrible and on nearly everyday. Bar staff are unattractive and aloof, and the patrons degenerate. The music is diabolical. No rock is played, only screaming, satanic metal. Place is too dark and in need of a serious renovation. Hopefully, someone with the money and the expertise to transform it into a decent pub will take it over one day.

Great venue, staff and atmosphere. Definitely one of the best live rock gigs in the area.👌🎸

Great Friday afternoon with decent music and canny beer, in Newcastle's best rock bar. Lovely staff, relaxed and my kind of scene all round.

Been going to this rock bar for 25 years, it's so sad it's got to the state it's in with such poor management and staff who have no people skills. Knew the old manager and it's a world away from what it was. Avoid at all costs now. Its so sad but let the place die, its broken. the delta lounge is far better, with good staff that actually make you feel welcome and great music.

Love trillions been going here since I was 18, so glad it's still there as I miss Cuba Cuba and legends. Great music and atmosphere

Visited on the 29th January 2022.. A proper Rock venue. No messing. Fine selection of ales to indulge in. Decent prices too. Open late and obviously Live Music on tap. Free to get in is always good. Went to see the Van Halen tribute band Van Hailen. Spot on! Sound was a bit mixed but maybe it’s because it’s a fairly small venue. Punters didn’t seem to mind though. All enjoyed. Canny Q for the bar but that’s because the place is popular. Basically, a decent night out for Rock fans. We need more like this..

Friendly, welcoming rock bar with great priced drinks, live music, and people wearing clothes ranging from metal to punk to goth to country. Been drinking there whenever I make it to Newcastle since 1985 (it was the Half Moon back then), and it's always been somewhere that makes me feel at home. Highly recommended.

Great, great night with great people. Plan was to stick for a while then dash off somewhere else. We liked it so much we stayed all afternoon and most of the night. AC/DC tribute band was AWESOME!

Trillians is a time capsule. Here is a place stuck in the past and for ALL the right reasons, and you should visit for a cold beer anytime you're in town. This is a rare place where the essence and joy of the 'rock pub' is sustained, nutured and in very capable hands. Live music? Of course; a Duke-box crammed with decades of music to suit all your rock and metal tastes? Check! Friendly punters and good staff? Absolutely! A dark and sweaty retreat where we can hide from grim normality? You bet ya! Trillians is an absolute delight and it stands out as we become a nation where there are so few bastions of rock and metal left. Bars like Trillians continue to serve old and new generations of alternative music fans and provide us with a refuge where we can find a fun and boozy night! Here I feel at home. Can't wait for my next visit!
