Well this is a very popular place. It does get busy but the food is lovely and at a good price. The staff were lovely, polite and friendly and very attentive. Turtle Bay is close to all transport amenities.its also surrounded by plenty of other pubs and restaurants, if you fancy a bit of shopping eldon square close by. If you fancy a stay over plenty of hotels to choose from. I will definitely be back as I was spoilt for choice from the menu and I need more of the lovely coconut ice cream. They do great cocktail 2-4-1 till 7pm, they also serve many other drinks i have recommended to family and friends already. It's a great place to visit you won't be disappointed 😊 XPlease get some salmon in for next visit.

Went for bottomless brunch as always the cocktails were lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. It was definitely good value we never had an empty glass and the one time we were waiting a couple of minutes for a cocktail the waitress brought over a bottle of Prosecco whilst we waited. We will definitely be returning to do it again.

Amazing cocktails as long as you like rum! Food is amazing, good heat, massive portions, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. A gemUpdate: Still incredible. Staff are brilliant, really friendly, food is still fantastic and good value.

I ordered ribs with mac n cheese and I got it very fast which was great, but it wasn't warm enough and the portion was very small. It felt like a starter and I was still very hungry after it.But overall I have to say that food was delicious. I would give 5 stars if the portion was bigger and warmer.

Who would have thought a Wednesday afternoon in April could be so much fun! Birthday treat from my girlfriend and we had a fantastic time. Looked after superbly by Rosie for our 2 hour bottomless brunch and shout out to Dan in the kitchen for the excellent meal! Then looked after at the bar by Jack and Gilbert as we made our way through the rum menu!! All these guys are a credit to you!!Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be returning again!!Well Done!!

Food was amazing and staff very friendly. My only downside is, I’ve been to turtles bays in Leeds, york and Liverpool but this has to be my least favourite. There was one poor lad working behind the bar to accommodate 200 people needing drinks. The management needs to look at putting more people behind the bar.

Blue Light Card Discount applies here!2-4-1 Cocktails is an absolute treat as well!Great food and nice atmosphere. Staff were really accommodating and happy to help with anything we asked for.Couple of bits missing off the menu, but kept well inform.I would thoroughly recommend the food here! Don’t get the Mac and cheese, not worth it but everything else we had was delicious! Thanks so much!

We had a great time on the bottomless brunch. Food was great and the cocktails were as well. Bruna from Portugal served us as well as Sarah and Rosie from London studying music. They made our stay an excellent one. Highly recommended. We stayed for 2-4-1 cocktails after the bottomless brunch ended

We visited Turtle Bay during a one-night stop in Newcastle on our trip, and what a gem this place is!Loved the Caribbean vibe, the lively music, the food and the excellent service! We ordered a Coca-Cola whilst deciding what dishes to have, and I loved the glass bottle it was served in! Funky concept. We had the garlic pit prawns and crispy chilli squid for mains - the prawns were a-ma-zing! You could taste the meatiness of the prawns and the softness of the melted butter over the flatbread. For mains, we ordered the Jerk Salmon with spiced fries, and the Salmon Curry. Both full of flavour, the fries were delicious.Loved the customer service, the staff were friendly, approachable and nothing was too much trouble for them, always serving us with a big smile!I highly recommend this venue and the extra point goes for the fact that they're open until 12.30am on a Thursday night! Thanks, Turtle Bay!

Went for the bottomless brunch and didn't have high expectations for the speed of service or quality of the cocktails. Service was fantastic and we always had a full drink, cocktails were beautiful too and they had a huge selection. The food was lovely and came quickly!Well worth the £32 each.
