Had a long awaited meet up with friends and we had the ā€˜Bottomless Brunch’. We had a fabulous time. Jack & Demmy were both fantastic and food and service was 5*, thanks formaking our day YOLO!

Hired the roof terrace for a works night out for c30 people. The location was great as were the staff on the night. I was pleasantly surprised that there were mostly two members of staff behind the bar at any time so never a queue which I've found to be the case elsewhere. The finger buffet and pizza buffet were enjoyed by all and if anything there was far too much quantity given the reasonable pricing. Also special thanks to the team at Yolo who helped making the arrangements incredibly easy.Thoroughly recommended and I suspect I'll re-use for a future event.

It was a Tuesday evening so quite quiet. Customer service was good especially as there were 11 of us in the grouo. Food was nice but there was very few gluten free and veggie options. Overall though a good experience having not eaten here before.

Quirky bar in the heart of the Cloth Market area of Newcastle City Centre. Nice range of cocktails with pleasant staff. Although this place advertises a rooftop terrace don't get too excited. There is an area up two flights of stairs that leads to a terraced area which can be heated during cold periods but it isn't very big and I would imagine that at busy times it might get a little claustrophobic. The downstairs areas are well decorated and clean with bars on each floor. The place was very quiet when we visited and there was only the ground floor bar open, however, we were allowed to take our drinks up to the terrace where sadly there were no views to be had other than the solitary pigeon sitting on the ledge of an adjacent bricked up window. Aside from the slightly negative aspect we did like this bar and my wife's cocktail was excellent and my pint was first class. We would go again and perhaps next time we might try the food.

Booked a private area out to celebrate my 30th birthday in April. My sister brought her BRP ID and was refused entry due to her card being ā€˜invalid’ and not appropriate according to the bouncers on the door. We explained it has never been an issue elsewhere and that it is an official government card and proof of her residency, and that her passport was sent away for her drivers licence at that time. After practically begging (so that my sister wouldn’t have to miss my party), the bouncers finally allowed her entry with the promise that she would not drink any alcohol and would leave at 9pm. Sure enough at 9pm the bouncers came and removed her from the venue. We’ve since realised that the gov.uk website DOES allow BRP to be used as ID. For this reason, the rude, unreasonable and incompetent bouncers on the door give this place a 1 star as it completely ruined my birthday. If I’d have known she’d be refused entry I’d have booked someplace else. Unsurprisingly when we moved onto the next bar, her BRP ID was accepted fine. I’d suggest the doormen get better training so to not be discriminatory against those with non-UK passports and driving licences. It’s a shame this happened as it could otherwise have been a lovely experience/venue as the booking process was smooth and the food was fine.

Won’t allow me in into a booked private space to celebrate my sister’a birthday because they couldn’t accept my BRP as an identity card even though on official UK government website it is stated that BRP CAN be used to confirm my identity. In fact I didn’t have my passport and driving license because I sent my passport away to get a driving license. So I have only BRP. So I rate this place 1 star due to incompetence.

Great venue for a night out, but recently used for a business meeting. We had a private room, a great size and very comfortable. Dinner was provided and was excellent. The team in Yolo certainly looked after us....Many Thanks

Great little area on the roof terrace, ideal for smaller gatherings or groups. Great staff and service! Hannah was so accommodating and really looked after our group on Saturday afternoon into the early evening!Food great too! Would certainly recommend to friends and family!

The tapas options were generous, really tasty and good value (3 for the price of 2, i.e. £10). The short ribs and garlic prawns were a highlight. Modern decor and friendly service.
