Zucchini Pasta Bar in Newcastle upon Tyne

Been here quite a few times now and it's always good. The pastas here that we've tried have been very tasty, and also highly recommend the garlic bread and the potatoes (bonus- if they have the cherry frozen cocktail on while you're here, that's also lovely). Service here has also always been good, very efficient and friendly staff! We'll be coming back again soon

This is my first time in Zucchini. My experience was as follows:1.,The staff was welcoming and helpful (I was not sure what to order as it is my first time)2. We took Fresh Spaghetti Pomodoro and Spaghetti Midnight. They were all great, especially the fresh pasta they used. As garlic is favourite, I like Midnight more.3. I also ordered Margarita Pizza Square (as a slide). Not recommended at all. Very thick dough.In general, it was a good experience and I will surely come back again.Menu attached (11 July 22)

One of my favourite places in Newcastle. Pasta is consistently fresh & delicious. Reasonably priced also at around £9-£11 depending on what you get with it. They also do excellent frozen amaretto slushes which are well worth it!

Have had excellent experiences at this place in the past but both the food (mainly in terms of portions) and service were very poor tonight.Tried to broach the subject (which I had to psych myself up to do as I *hate* to complain) and was told that the below was a normal portion. I’m hardly a glutton but for £9.50 I’d like a bit more, you know?Absolutely gutted to have had to write this review as the food and service were excellent last time, but this was really disappointing.Perhaps the chef and FOH staff were both just having an off night but I don’t think I’ll be chancing it again after this time.Sorry Zucchini.

We've eaten at both the restaurant in the Metro Centre & the restaurant in Newcastle. The food is excellent, beautiful flavours and tastes like genuine Italian cooking. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great, friendly and welcoming staff. The photos I've added are the mac & cheese with extra mushrooms...lush. The pasta is a beef, pork & fennel dish, also very tasty. We also got the tomato and garlic ciabatta which was delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough, we love it and will definitely be coming back.

Delicious fresh pasta, lovely staff and great music. To top it off you can get a fresh pasta dish for £5 on a Friday. Bargain!

The quality high and the portion sizes generous for the price. I had the beef shin Ragu with some zucchini fries on the side and a can of San Pellegrino and it came to £14. It was all delicious, past made fresh and the service was excellent. Will visit again when I'm in the North East

Sadly didn’t get a picture of the delicious pasta but the garlic bread definitely lived up to the hype!Staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely recommend the boozy brunch for the amazing value for money.Only negative would be how insanely cold it was in here - was shivering and wearing a full coat by the end of our brunch.
