Walked out after 15 minutes. Practically empty yet 3 different staff members ignored us multiple times each & avoided eye contact. 15 minutes after being seated no-one had even taken our drinks order at a time when there were more staff than customers. Unforgivable. I’ve been going to Allards for a number of years but the last 2 years have seen food and particularly service standards plummet. Totally done with the place. Really abysmal now. Won’t be back.Allards management…. when paying customers are walking out because your service staff in a practically empty restaurant are ignoring them, then your service staff have utterly failed.

Booked three hours before going but our name wasnt on the up to date list of bookings so had to wait til they found it. Went along for food but alot of the menu was not on which was quite disappointing as we had an idea already of what we wanted to order. However the food we chose that came was delicious. Couldnt believe the size of the sharing paella! We had some lovely cocktails too. Was abit of a wait to catch staff for ordering even when there wasnt alot of people in.

Visited for food and drinks on a Friday evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful when serving our large group, and the food was really tasty. They had a good selection of drinks and I'll definitely be back to have some more of them when I'm not driving!

Disappointed. Many tapas options unavailable, as was the wine we ordered. An alternative bottle was sent, however no explanation other than it tastes the same! The house wine was like vinegar.Service was pretty naff, young kids that cba mainly.Such a nice looking place, but fell flat for us.

First visit for some time last night - a little disappointing. Our party of four all felt that following ordering that we needed to constantly remind staff after asking for water for table , then again waited for small plates and cutlery after the tapas starters had arrived. The plates were not cleared after that , so the tapas (main courses)dishes arrived amongst the dirty plates still on the table. One part of the order needed to be redone as it was incorrect, it finally arrived after the other guests had finished, so not ideal and not even an apology from the male server. The female member of staff was very apologetic. The tapas dishes were lovely but when it was mentioned that the pizza was disappointing the male member of staff responded with ' we cooked another as quickly as we could' again no sorry about that and that wasn't really the point. He then did not return to clear the remainder of the plates - clearly he did not like the criticism. All we wanted was an expected level of service. We may try a different time. Maybe some customer service training may be needed for some members of staff.

Just had lunch of different tapas shared with my daughter and son -in-law. All delicious ,service was good and had a window seat to watch the world go buy in Tynemouth. Lovely day out.

Sat in the bar area, which allows dogs inside, making it suitable to dine for our lunch with our dog!Service was great, helping us with the menu since it was our first time eating here. A lady also gave our dog a water bowl & treats, which makes a nice change.Food was lovely! Although I'd state that the platter is a sharer for 2/3 persons, rather than it being on the mains & tapas is also quite large! As tapas is usually meant to be small, non the less, it was good food!
