We enjoyed our fish and chip supper and could not believe the prices! Under £20 for a family of 4 including sides and drinks.They do a fish and chips cafe special for £5.20 which is cheaper than when I worked in a fish and chip shop 10 years ago!Staff are extremely friendly. Would be happy to return in the future!

My family have been coming here for 3 generations which says it all really. Phenomenal food and even better customer service. The staff are always soo happy to serve you and full of conversation which I always find endearing. I’m really picky with chips and have yet to find a single chippy out there that even compares to The Arcade! Whether you’re sitting in or taking away - the food is always freshly made and perfectly cooked. I’ve just brought my partner for his first time at the Arcade and he said it’s now his favourite chippy and wants to come back to try the kebab. He’s even shocked at the prices and how cheap it is considering the quality of the food. Will always recommend this chippy. Absolute asset to Whitley Bay! X

Always use the take away, which is excellent, but thought we'd try the restaurant on Saturday. As usual lovely friendly service and excellent food at a reasonable price.

Nicest chilli salt and pepper chips you'll ever have in your life really fair priced and the specials for 2 quid no brainer keep up good work Paula

I've been lots over the last couple of years, called in yesterday with my brothers, first time for them, they absolutely loved the fish special, excellent value and staff always so friendly. Thank you so much, can't wait to call in again
