Balti Hut in North Tyneside

I have used balti hut for over 25 years will not be using again the food was bland and tasteless.

Usually lush but last night parmesan was burnt to a crisp could smell the burnt when I opened the box!! Really not on. Refund wanted. Not one given. It went in the bin

Worst Indian takeaway food ever...way too hot...no taste! ...can't possibly have a proper chef....soooo dissatisfied...Will never return!!!

I used to love it here but the last 2 times I have been have been below their usual standard. If I use them again I will update this to reflect the experience.

Food was nice and hot on delivery, wouldn't order again tho as my starter was contaminated, as I bit into my pakura I felt something hard and sharp in my mouth to to find out there was 2 metal staples actually inside the food. Very dangerous!!!! They seemed not bothered and unapologetic on the phone even hinting that these things happen!!! As I say the food was really good but only order if you fancy a game of Russian roulette.

My God!! The madras was the most tasteless thing I have ever eaten. Not only tasteless, but it was like water - the whole of the sauce was poured over the rice and it all disappeared into the rice in minutes. And what on earth they cover their naan breads in I have no idea - they were dripping wet with some thick sauce which I can only presume was some sort of garlic? Horrible! I’m sitting here now half annoyed, half laughing. The whole lot went in the bin. I’m away over One Stop now for a sausage roll to ease the pain, and the hunger.

Lovely place with authentic food, curries are great, well seasoned and full of flavour. Pizzas have plenty of toppings and delicious, and the kebabs are juicy and filling. Great value for money as well.

Ordered over the phone tonight and received excellent service from Balti Hut. The food was thirty minutes earlier than expected, piping hot and tasted delicious.The garlic naan bread was lovely and garlicy and the chicken tikka Jaljul was the hottest Jaljul I have ever had, with lovely layers of underlying flavour. The vegetable pilau rice was also 100% perfect. What a great mid-week treat!

I've ordered from the takeaway several times, always for pickup. Every single time they get it wrong, and the quality is extremely poor. I've complained before and they've sorted the issue however they've never improved. Always thought I'd give them another chance, but always so so poor. Wouldn't waste your money.
