Beefeater Whitley Bay in North Tyneside

We went here for father's Day 2022 as a group of 6 adults and 3 children. We had booked ahead of time so we didn't have to wait for a table. The service we received on the whole was brilliant. The waitress was a bit slow to see us and the food took a while to arrive but I'm putting this down to the day. food was delicious and good portions. Will definitely be returning.

We were pleased to take breakfast here as staying in the adjacent Premier Inn. We have not visited Beefeaters locally in Hampshire for some time, since our experience of the service was that it took a long time between ordering and delivery.I'm afraid it was the same up here, in spite of having only minimal customers. Food was average in quality, and they ran out of proper sausages for the last two of our three days stay! We had only one evening meal here, picture attached!

Absolutely lovely place. Staff were awesome. Really helpful and friendly. Food must be good because I was with an incredibly fussy eater and they ate loads loving it. The 2 ladies taking food orders were brilliant. Thank you.

I thought the food choice was good, particularly for kids. Food is reasonably priced and satisfactory. The staff were friendly & polite. The biggest issue is long waits for each course. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy but we waited perhaps 45minutes for the first course.With children it's difficult to keep them occupied.

Had a fab Sunday main meal and desserts in the lovely Beefeater Whitley Bay. Fab service from all the staff especially Tiana as recommended by Rob the chatty waiter ! X

Issues with booking not being there we were still accommodated, very busy breakfast during the Easter weekend, the staff were very helpful and professionals despite being extremely busy. We had the breakfast deal when 2 kids eat free, it was amazing value for money infact I don’t know how they manage it, 1 free child would have been sufficient. The hot breakfast was served and the continental and drinks were self serve. Overall great experience maybe next time I’ll avoid the busy bank holiday weekends. Top marks to all the staff. Thanks

Food was good. Nice and hot when it came from the kitchen. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our waitress, Dani was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Fantastic visit. Will return.

Great service, staff are super attentive and really friendly. I am on a carb restrictive diet and they adapted my breakfast without flinching. Kids eat free with breakfasts for adults. A great place for food after a long walk on a cold beach in winter.Great place, great service, good food.

Food was very good, steak was cooked to perfection and tender, no fat. Chilli con carne was OK, could have been a bit more spicy but that is a matter of taste. Everything was clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lots of seating outside to enjoy the late summer sunshine.
