Best curry sauce I've had on my chips for a long time. Generous amount too. Hit the spot on a blustery day during a bike ride.

Called in for a Friday lunch fish and chips for three. The fish was large and the batter was cracking. The chip portion was also large. The curry sauce was nice and spicy. Five stars from my partner who is a fish & chip connoisseur.

Disappointing, dismissed the one star review as there was just the one and here we are. Fish okay, chips barely warm and soggy with their interpretation of gravy seriously wrong also a couple of missing items. Jealous of the other single star reviewer as he's only £10 lighter, I'm way over £30 lighter.

Overcooked chips tasted like the oil needed changing. Charged £2.20 for a portion filling only a small burger box.

1 star only for this place. Although it looks quite appealing and theyre adhering to covid rules the food they served me was rank and is just not upto standard. Other reviews on here suggest otherwise. So maybe they thought they could get away with giving me food that had been stood there for longer than it should? I got two kids fish bites and chips and two cans of pop. Waited a while outside as there were 4 people already in there so quite busy but when i ordered my food i was given it straightaway, Over a £10 spend on chewy batter, dry fish and overcooked chips. Really awful. Dont take the risk and give every customer the food they deserve and pay for. It will be the last time this place rips me off.

Only 3 people allowed in at 1 time, queue looks big but goes down fast.A must visit if at the beach in Cullercoats. Haddock fillet is only 30p difference to cod which is a bargain. If you like mushy peas, ask for them to put it on top as you get 5x more than in a pot.Amazing fresh fish n chips that are addictive. Best around by far.

Loved the fish bites, I only got a kids portion and you get a lot for your money. The batter is crunchy, the fish is chunky, the chips fluffy, and the extra curry I ordered was delicious. The rest of my group all got full sized meals (fish bites and cods) which come in the traditional flip boxes, perfect for a day at the beach. If there's a queue- it's 100% worth the wait. Can't wait to go back again.

Oh my bloody gosh! This place never ever fails to disappoint! The cod bites and the chips are the best! Mushy peas can be hit or miss, but make sure you ask for the batter bits and I would always recommend a gravy! Chips and gravy! Cod bites and chips and gravy! Is a battered sausage a side or a main? I think side!

We’ve been here today- just wonderful! COVID policies adhered too- fast , efficient service and fantastic fish and chips which we all ate on a bench overlooking the sea! We highly recommend this place and it’s friendly staff. There’s not much to do at the moment and this made a seaside walk very special for us all. Thank you 😊

We ate in the restaurant upstairs and had a nice table looking out of the window over the bay, I had the haddock and chips with mushy peas bread and butter and a pot of tea and I can honestly say it was some of the best I have ever tasted and I've had a lot over the years, all served by a pleasant young lad who was a credit to the fish bar
