Cafe 19 in North Tyneside

I really like this place and normally the service is excellent with super friendly staff. Unfortunately today this was not the case my nephew requested no eggs tomatoes or mushrooms with his breakfast. When the order arrived it had eggs told the server who immediately took it back, however the waitress who took the order came back very aggressively saying he had not mentioned no eggs & if he had an allergies he should have informed her he is not allergic just does not like eggs, he certainly did say no eggs she was the only one not to hear this. We did get it sorted however spoilt or breakfast a little but not enough to stop us going back. The food was amazing as always sorry we had the over aggressive waitress not the best customer service today.

Very welcoming staff, my husband really enjoyed skillet breakfast hasn't stopped going on about it telling everyone, my crispy bacon granary bun was delicious, felt comfortable, relaxed, lovely atmosphere and well looked after by the amazing staff we will definitely be back to try lunch menu. Keep up the amazing attitude and a shout out to the kitchen staff.

If you're in Whitley Bay you MUST visit. Fantastic, friendly, professional staff. Perfect posh poached eggs. Truly wonderful.

Very good experience! There was no free inside table when we walked in. We were offered to wait outside on the seaside terrace and asked inside as soon as a table was available. Cake was very good. Coffee too. Beautifully decorated shop. Nice toilets with a secluded corner for a changing table and a chair for nursing. 👍 Kids menue and babyccino available. Access to the beach just across the street and big playground around the corner.

Great selection of food. Very friendly staff, food amazing and dog friendly.

Had A Great English Skillet Breakfast on two occasions and the hash browns were the best I have ever had and took we back to my childhood days on Germany when I used to love there fried potato pancakes.and these were just as good and to die for.The staff were great and very helpful and it was very busy on the first day we visited which was a Sunday which is always a good sign.I rate this as 5 Star.

Just decided to come in here to grab a breakfast. The skillet was so good sausages are decent too everything cooked nicely..atmosphere is nice and cosy was throughly packed which is always a good sign..

Covid restrictions in place, booking tables in advance is not available so a queuing system is in place currently. Didn't wait very long at all to be seated. Menu choice for breakfast was great and the prices were good value, food and drinks served quickly, one staff member allocated per table, Crystal was very attentive and helpful. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
