Everyone is entitled to have their favourites but imho and having tried most local Chinese takeaways this place is significantly ahead of the rest. The quality of the meat especially stands out compared to local rivals . Very busy which upsets some I know.but also

Genuinely the best Chinese take-away in the UK (I've tried many). Great portions, fresh ingredients and friendly service. I now live in the South of England, but when I come back North to see family, I always come to New Claremont. The house special fried rice is the finest I've ever had with good sized prawns, nice meat portions and tasty sauce.

First time trying here. Got the House special curry and House special fried rice. Was impressed! Food served piping hot and the quality was beyond expected. Very generous portions too👍

Amazing food, I have been coming here for years. Would highly recommend the Cantonese chicken in light batter. Favourite Chinese takeaway in the area.
