Great food, great staff

Great to stop off on our coastal walk.Very friendly staff.

Good location set inside Tynemouth Park which has plenty to keep kids entertained. Decent menu serving a good selection of breakfast, brunch & lunch items. Sat outside where they do have heat lamps but no wind breaks unfortunately. Table also wasn't cleaned down properly before sitting down. Had the Fish Finger Sandwich in Ciabatta with chips on the side. Sandwich was nice, chips were average. Service somewhat lacking with other people on the tables order not being put through leading to us eating seprerately. Also wasn't brought any cutlery, napkins or condiments which was disappointing. Would find it difficult to recommend unless there was an improvement in service.

The Greenhouse cafe, the front of house staff didn't seem to know what they were doing or be aware of the new Covid laws regarding table service, when I mentioned this, I was met with a "What do you expect us to do about it?" response. How about advise customers of the law. Also, other people's food an napkins left on tables, I saw a dog jump up and put its paws on a table, in front of a senior member of staff, but this wasn't cleaned either. Plus, the ladies and gents toilets are closed, so everyone must use the disabled toilet, which has no toilet seat, to the detriment of all female (and some male) users.

Came for lunch after finishing miniature golf. The manager grilled my sons fish, just in case there was any risk of contamination. Friendly staff, good size portions

System doesn't work.Sat waiting for table service that never came. Other customers that walked in after us recieved service before us.Other customers served food but not their drinks.Either get a system that works or get more staff.Very poor.

Had a lovely lunch here. Very busy, food was good. They got one thing wrong with our order but happily corrected it, and very apologetic, would go again

Very nice place food good clean,staff very helpful and happy we went in a group they did there upmost to help keep up all together will be going back with or with out our group

I have been to a few night time music events here. Loved everyone and especially enjoyed the food. The vegetarian choice doesn't dissapoint. I have visited the café during the day and the food is delicious. Reasonably priced food and drink. Would recommend.

Excellent location now called The Greenhouse Cafe. Fantastic when the weather is nice, you can sup your coffee alfresco or eat good reasonably priced food looking over the boating lake with the sea in the background. Staff are amazingly friendly.You'd be crazy not to give it a try.
