Davanti Classico in North Tyneside

I went for the 2-meat Sunday lunch, and got a delicious slab of fall-apart pork belly and a good amount of beef rib. It came with a good selection of vegetables, stuffing, and a good size Yorkshire pudding. I'm a good eater and couldn't get through all of it! I still managed the brownie and ice cream for dessert, which was everything a brownie should be. The staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive, and prices reasonable.

Almost always busy - but that;s because they have the spacing of the tables, the prices, the menu, the hot drinks, the service, and the cafe's location just right. The food (Itaiian) is usually good.

Dinner for two in this restaurant housed in the local railway station. For a thursday night the place was busy and the high ceiling amplifies the sound, creating a lively feel. Attentive waiting staff who were friendly and professional. Menu was typically Italian and reasonably priced. Fishcakes and seabass were chosen by my wife, while I went for the Prawn and sausage bean srew starter and the seafood pizza. We both really enjoyed our meal which was well prepared and presented and more importantly, delicious.

Great surroundings and service. The food was delicious I started with crisp calamari and prawns then finished with a classic lasagne. If I lived closer I'd eat here every week. Great selection of wines and beers. Faultless in every aspect and fast friendly service

This is a fantastic little restaurant tucked away in the old station waiting room.The service was excellent really friendly and helpful staff.The food is great really tasty and very reasonably priced.We had a half and half option of pizza and pasta good quality ingredients used. I would highly recommend this restaurant.They seem to cope well with large groups as there were at least 3 birthday party of about 15 in when we visited but it didn't affect the service we had.We will definitely be returning soon I hope

The food was uneditable and they stuck us next toa circus land of kids and family’s yelling.This was one of the worst meals I have had in a very long time. From San Francisco.Say no more……do not waste your money.

Went out for a first date night since the arrival of the little fella and was a nice start!The place was absolutely packed and have not been here for two years. They have additional seating outside which is a little chilly.Wine was okay and meal was decent. Arranchini were cold however very tasty and the half and half is a favourite of mine.Nothing will beat Sambuca but this is a close second!

Davanti Classico is a beautiful place to eat. The food is always gorgeous and the staff make you feel at home.

The setting for this restaurant is sublime.Beautiful building and the interior is stunning. So the food had a lot to live up to.....Our food came in good time and was simply divine.No over powering of garlic,not too much herbs etc, just a delicate balance of taste and heat (Depending on what you order),Even having no room for desert I had to try one and again (see pictures) it didn't fail to impress.If you are looking for quality Italian food , reasonably prices, with sublime flavors and great staff THIS is the place.Cant wait to go back!
