Had to pay 50 pence extra, for decaff coffee and 50 pence extra for oatmilk. This is scandalous, I won't be going back for a coffee again. No other coffee shop charges extra for decaff coffee and if it charges extra for the oat milk it is never more than 20 pence. Most coffee shops don't charge extra though is its dear enough as it is. £4 for a decaff oatmilk latte is ridiculous.

My wife and I used to eat here on a Saturday morning before venturing into the market. This was the first time we've been in about two years. The food is still lovely, but the atmosphere has changed. Loud and chocka. It's worth a look though, if you can get there before the Tynemouth pretenders turn up in the morning.

Wonderful atmosphere and staff great for a coffee and cake by the beach of tynemouth. Lovely view of front street from inside and the outside seating. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Classy café serving light meals, salads with a twist and desserts. Would visit again.

Went at lunch time. Too late for breakfast menu which was a pity as both myself and partner were struggling to find anything we would like on the lunch menu. Settled for the tomato and pepper soup which was delicious. Service was a little slow but otherwise was worth 4 stars.

Food was nice but customer service was lacking. We were left queuing at a sign for 10 minutes outside with no-one welcoming us or coming to speak to us. I went in and asked the manageress how long a table would be, to which she simply replied 'difficult to say' and added nothing else. The staff appeared unfriendly and never smiled. I asked for poached eggs on toast but the manageress muttered to the server 'don't do poached eggs'. Can get a more friendly service and wider menu choice elsewhere, for a much lower price.

Absolutely amazing coffee and out of this world cakes. Staff are exceptional.

Insufficient staff to provide a good service. I was ignored 2 times by one of the staff. Food were okay, a bit on the pricey side. Very crowded during the brunch time.

Really great food, super cute surroundings, and lovely, helpful staff! I had the Cuban burrito, which was filled with delicious sweetcorn fritter, pulled pork and light, fluffy rice, all bundled up in a super fresh popped wrap. We also had the fish finger sandwich, which was very tasty and full of plump fish. To finish everything off, we went for the chocolate brownie (divine) and banana and walnut cake (light and moist) and a pot of tea, which came in a funky felted tea cosy. This place is highly recommended!
