Placed an order with these at 1900 took my money give me a time then hakf an hour later receive a text saying its been canceled. So we rang them and was like whats going on its the 2nd time this has happened and the guy replied were just busy.

SHOCKING SERVICE, SHOCKING ATTITUDE AND SHOCKING FOOD.I placed an order for gravy rice and chips X 2 on phone and was told 5 minutes. I was in shop within the 5 minutes and they said food wouldn't be long. Several people came in after me, ordered at counter waited a few minutes and left with their food. 3 times I asked where my food was, each time told won't be long! 25 MINUTES LATER my food came out. No apology but tried to give a free bag of prawn crackers! Staff attitudes stink and then the food was shocking! Chips where dry and undercooked and gravy burnt! Total waste of money. I HAVE USED THIS TAKEAWAY SINCE IT OPENED AND SPEND A LOT OF MONEY HERE. You have LOST a long loyal customer today, I will never use your TAKEAWAY again and will NEVER recommend again. Jaks loss! STAY AWAY FOLKS. Food and service has gone downhill lately. I have had to give one star but they deserve ZERO. My previous review was GREAT, how quickly things change!

New years eve my friend reccomend this place she ordered her usual, l wasn't too hungry so opted for my favourite chilli salt chips which l usually get from spring gardens chinese N/Shields it only took 1 hour considering it was new years eve, however my chips tasted stale, they felt like they were warmed up from the previous day and had a slight rubbery texture, my friend confirmed they were off, pity as the flavours were there, l wouldn't care but potatoes are cheap enough to cook from fresh!

I haven’t been here much but every time I have fancied a Chinese this has all ways been the place for me to go, the food is mouth watering and very addictive as why I have to try and not go there every day, it’s reliable and worth the money. So go there and comment your views on this place and tell us all what you think it’s all ways good to have feed back even if it is negative we all learn one way or another.

First time orderd tonight and never again got house special chow mein supposed to be chicken pork beef etc i got 2 slices of chicken 2 slicess of pork the rest was tiny bits of chicken with 3 prawns the rest was noodles £7.10 and u dont get rice r chips with this is an utter joke house special for a reason opinion AVOiD AVOID AVOiD

Ordered a king prawn chow mien last night. Worst meal I’ve ever had and it went in the bin. Completely tasteless, no bean sprouts just a pile of plain noodles & a couple of mushy prawns.

First time using Jack's. Definitely won't be the last, the food was amazing and very efficient service and delivery 5*

Just wasted £25 for food that was inedible. And now we have to get something else. MMushy rice, funny tasting and texture chicken. Cheap gristley meat. Used to be nice but gone right down hill. After tonight we'll be finding somewhere else to get our Chinese from.

Food was really nice but delivery was nearly 50mins late, so wasn't happy about that, considering I ordered in advance for a specific time. So was about 2hours before hand so it should of been delivered on time.!
