Turned up at about 2.30 with out a booking, but was able to get a table with out any problems.Over all our lunch was ok we had to wait for fresh vegetables and gravy being brought out to the carvery as they had ran out and not restocked, we didn't wait too long and on the whole our lunch was nice, the service left a bit to be desired, not to friendly or welcoming, the conservatory where we were seated was cramped for space and very basic. We probably wouldn't choose to return just not the place for us.

This used to be a great pub, but has lost its charm, atmosphere, good food, (the fantastic carvery has gone) and the beer selection is average, and as you would expect, most of the customer base has moved on. Almost empty on a Friday night. Such a shame

·

Quaint pub, decent carvery, and very pleasant staff. Priced incredibly reasonable. Worth sticking your head in if you're passing.

·

Good carvery. Only £5

Went there today with my mam & sister, we had a lovely carvery, the beef was delicious! The staff on shift were very welcoming, especially the lady on the carvery, very friendly. Thank you we will be back

Parking is awkward in the dark, and disabled accessibility is limited. Excellent food, very friendly staff, good selection of beer.

First time at The Killingworth Arms we all had the Homemade British Beef Burger .. It was the best burger we've had in a while!! Simple homemade burger (at least a 1/4lb) bacon which was ham from the carvery, cheese and salad on a generous bun, served up with homemade, handmade chips! (A rarity!) .. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended 🙂

Went for the Sunday carvery food was lovely atmosphere was good too staff were very helpful

·

Not as good as it normally would be. Very watery veg and very thin gravy, Sunday gone standards slipped. 😢

Had the carvery. Well worth the money. You get a choice of 2 meats, home made Yorkshire, sausages and then you can help yourself to the veg. A good variety of vegetables as well as potatoes choices roasties, new potatoes and mash. They have a great choice of desserts I had the toffee crunch pie with cream and it was absolutely beautiful. 2 courses £11.95. The staff are lovely, It gets really busy so it's best to book a table in advance or if you don't mind waiting for a table. Good place to eat.
