Dog friendly.Big, tasty portions for very reasonable price. Lots of TVs to watch football.

Lovely food and lots of it, very helpful and friendly staff

Public bar is very sporty with different sports on tvs. Not my thing but plenty of people like that. The lounge looked welcoming. Friendly staff and good ale.

Christmas dinner was awful, frozen and still cold... overall very dissapointed... staff don't really seem to care if you ate it, left it or even enjoyed it! Really really dissapointed with the whole experience! First Christmas with my Nan since my grandad passed trying to make it special and its just been a big let down! Come her quite often but will not be coming back.. trying to order a takeaway... as we speak 😓 Merry Christmas...

Love it there! The highest quality standards from the staff. I would recommend the Monkseaton Arms for friend gatherings. I haven't yet been for anything else yet but they assist with customers needs as I've experienced. We occupy the upstairs as a group of musicians one day a week.

Not back to its pre-COVID customer numbers, so a bit quiet, but a great place for a few beers with friends. The landlady and bar staff were particularly friendly.I'll be back...

Absolutely great. Family get together (within Covid limits) was let down, last minute, by a local restaurant doing takeaway. Monkseaton Arms to the rescue. They managed to prepare a massive takeaway banquet of freshly prepared food at very very short notice. Food was cooked perfectly. So delicious. Plentiful and of a very high quality. Will absolutely order again for family gatherings or just a take away for us. Thank you Monkseaton Arms, you rescued a weekend with your awesome delicious food.

Great local pub. Huge selection of drinks with various deals. Large menu based mainly on pub grub. Service good, staff friendly and helpful, good level of cleanliness. Usually busy. Offers sports in several TV's. Popular local bar.
