New Horizon Chinese Take Away in North Tyneside

Am totally discussed with this Chinese the order came cold over cooked and phoned in to see what could be done 20% of nx order 🤣🤣 never eating from there again . PUBLC stay clear from this Chinese you have been warned 0/10

The is fantastic!!! I got beef in Blackburn sauce and it was very nice,but abit salty but still very nice,maybe reduce the amount of salt and not put as much in!!?

Just had a chicken chilli and garlic chow mein from here, was terrible no flavour at all. I've always ordered my Chinese from new horizon as the food has always been perfect. Not tonight very disappointing, I will be looking for another Chinese now as I won't be going back there

Tried the special curry but the curry sauce was like water just running off my plate couldn't eat it with a fork, a spoon or a straw might have been better. Won't be back.

A recent order included a few house specials, (Sweet n sour, chow mein, and curry) and a hot n spicy king prawn dish. The battered balls were nice and crispy, with the chicken and prawns cooked perfectly. The chow mein was ok, but maybe could have had few more vegetables to add texture. I was not a fan of the curry they served, straight out of a mayan packet, it was far too watery. I was surprised to see a sauce in their hot and spicy dish. Whenever I've had this dish elsewhere it hasn't come with a sauce, its been a hot n spicy stir fry of vegetables and meat, which given the watery sauce this dish came with, i think i prefer.

IG: mysweetnsourballs Chicken balls are nice and well cooked. The sweet and sour water... I mean sauce is nothing to shout about. Egg fried rice is good and the prawn crackers are some of the best around (I have a feeling they're bought in). Prawn toast is low quality.

Absolutely horrendous... food 90 minutes late and then the two main courses were only fit for the bin ... wouldn’t even give them to the dogs! Chicken chewy and tasteless and did not have any sauce with it... beef dish tasteless with rubbery chunks of meat which had a strange taste! I have been very poorly all day with upset stomach (both ends), unable to eat or drink! Called the owner who told me that her family eat the food they make and maybe quality was poor because only one chef !!!! I believe a call to North Tyneside environmental health is required! I have used New Horizon for many years.... never ever again!!!!!

Horrendous excuse for a takeaway. Meal delivered 45 minutes late and lukewarm , portions were tiny and thin watery curry was more like soup. Mixed meat special had two prawns and 3 bits of chicken. DISGUSTING. My wife had chicken chop suey and after the second mouthful couldn’t eat it, tasteless food and fried rice so over cooked. Both meals thrown in the bin at a cost of £ 22.50.NEVER NEVER use this takeaway. I certainly NEVER will again. Bloody Awful.Beware of this place.
