Friendly staff, strong coffee and nice crumpets. But it's the art work hanging on the walls I enjoyed. All different media. And a good selection of books on locale.

·

Lovely coffee and cake or cheeses scones here. Dog friendly as well. One of our favourite places.

·

An interesting little one room museum currently focusing on the historic roll that women played in the fishing industry. There are a few artifacts on display like the Creels the women used to carry fish, but it's mainly the illustrated written stories of their lives that's presented here.Fascinating to read about how the Scotch Herring Girls travelled south and stayed in lodgings here whilst they worked the season cleaning and curing the fish.Whilst the Herring Girls are a prominent feature of this museum, women are also celebrated in their other roles within the industry like Sheila Hirsch, the country's first woman trawler skipper.Whilst not a huge museum, there's plenty of written material presented here with some interesting black and white photos of the industry in the 1930s.The place is a Charity and they ask for £4.00 to cover their costs which is fair enough. The exhibition is on the first floor, but there's a little balcony on the 2nd floor that gives you a good view of the surrounding area.

Seems a very nice place. Barely looked inside because it was closing. Volunteer staff friendly and informative. Really looking forward to visiting it properly.

Excellent evening. Wonderful production. New Theatre seating greatly improved.

Good location for a stroll. Lovely cafe with original art on walls. Tasty cheese toasties enjoyed all round for our group. Not great selection on menu but we were happy.

Friendly, lots to interest visitors, nice cafe

Lovely place and the staff are friendly and helpful. If I had to make a complaint. It would be what ever milk they used for my cup of tea. The art work on the walls are great
