Has opened as the 'Sister' restaurant beside Whitney Bay Metro station. During the strict restrictions recently, this place was able to trade, due to the fact they have a large semi covered outside seating area. The web site is well set up. This venue is ideal for Wedding venues. On their FB page they update daily. Now the restaurant is reopened there is indoor seating. Their menu is well priced and food is presented high standard. Staff are friendly and efficient. Well done, Dill & The Bear, Whitley Bay.

Really lovely afternoon here, staff were so accommodating with our parties requests and the food was delicious. It was around 2pm when we arrived and there were a few items sold out so will definitely be booking in earlier in future to try more of their dishes.

Dil and the Bear is like a tardis, not much from the outside but is a very stylish cafe / restaurant with generous indoor and outdoor seating areas, oh and the food is fantastic as well

The cocktails and food (fancy fries) were great, amazing atmosphere and lovely staff also very nicely decorated outside, I loved the fact that it was split into 2 areas as it didn’t feel as open. Will definitely be back for more cocktails with the girls 🥂

Very pleasant outdoor area for lunch and friendly staff. Delicious soup but served with the most measly portion of bread. I was charged £1.75 for another slice! Disappointing.

Beautiful! Popped in for a Sunday brunch along with our puppy. Beautiful outside seating area that was really spacious and is dog friendly. Fantastic full English and oat-milk latte. Super friendly staff and really welcoming. Would absolutely recommend.

Really great place and food. Staff where super nice. We got the veggie bear bowl and spicy cauliflower.
