Went here last week with my girlfriend and we ordered burgers. Straight away on the menu they come with all the sides we wanted (chips, coleslaw & salad) which was nice to see since a lot of restaurants try and upsell you on ordering those items separately. Service was pretty average (it was bar service since we were sat outside) but this was no issue and the staff were friendly. Once the food had arrived (an average 20 minutes) we were surprised by the large portion sizes. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned, the burger definitely was a stand out and one of the best restaurant burgers I've ever had. Very good value for money and would definitely visit again! Shame we didn't have room to try the puddings but that sounds like an excuse to return, especially after seeing the tapas on the other tables!

The food was fine. Maybe a little bland and the vegetarian options aren't really that exciting. They could do with having some more vegan options as well. The staff are super nice though.

Staff were very busy. Self service on the tables was awfully slow. Ordered cocktails and after nearly 20 minutes of waiting I went to the bar to complain and they were just sat there.People smoking right outside the door on entry so had to walk through clouds of smoke.Had a table booked for the following day for Sunday dinner, cancelled it.Espresso martini was nice. French martini didn’t taste right.

Disappointed for the first time! Some changes to the menu in particular the sharing meat platter - would rather have paid more for the original platter, this was meat balls, kofta etc and a tiny piece of steak it felt like they had decided to make a cheap version of the original for the same price . All other meals were delicious.

The food at this little joint on the beautiful coastal town of Tynemouth was delectable!

Nice decor, good choice of food and drink on the menu. Would recommend booking in advance.

We went to Ora last night and were disappointed how the service has deteriorated since we were last there.I booked a table online and we were shown to a table in the bar area, we asked if we could be seated in the restaurant but it was fully booked. I feel that if that is the case that they should let you know prior to the day so that you can cancel. The issue is that we didn't receive the normal service we would have expected. The waiters were not very attentive and we felt like we were being ignored. It was probably down to the fact that it was busy and they had too many people to look after but if they can't provide service, don't accept the reservations! The steaks we ordered, although tasty were not cooked to our requirements. We asked for 2 rare, 1 medium rare and one medium. They were all medium to well done. The couple we were with didn't want to cause a fuss but bearing in mind they ordered rare steak, they said they would not go back.Such a disappointment as Ora used to be our favourite place in Tynemouth but we won't be going back.

Food wasn't great. Potato and spinach tapas would have been inedible without mayonnaise.

Went for breakfast this morning in tynemouth. Didn't book so we went to the first place that was open which was Ora. We were greeted by a lovely lady who took us to a seat outside and took our drinks order. Table was very clean and a spacious area. Ordered the king breakfast for both me and my partner. Came out within about 7 minutes. Large portion and very nicely cooked. Poached eggs were perfect. The black pudding was to die for and very rich tasting. Pleasant experience and friendly polite staff
