Piccante in North Tyneside

Best pizza in Whitley Bay; the original base has a delicious chewy crust. The thin base is crisp and tasty.Always delivered fresh and hot and often earlier than than estimated.

Disappointed. Pizza base was overdone, the cheese on the cheesy chips was burnt (and not in a good way!), chicken in wrap was burnt as well.

It could be better the foods ok lots of little niggles like using shite garlic sauce and not cutting pizzas properly

I ordered at 8PM online, and at 9:45 I rang for an update on my pizza. A lady answered the phone and after giving my address, (which usually is the most helpful information for a delivery,) she couldn't find my order.I gave her the order number and she still couldn't find it!She then asked what pizza it was, I replied a hot and spicy one, starting to lose any hope of the order being taken.After a lot of fumbling and arguing with a colleague and I'm assuming checking through their Just Eat orders she announced she'd found it and said it's on its way.I didn't realise I hadn't hung up the phone and obviously neither did she, as she began to abuse me on the phone to her colleague, as though I was stupid for not knowing about the order!!!Eventually there was a silence, as I'm guessing she spotted she'd left the phone off the hook and she hung up.Pizza arrived nearly 2 hours later and was average at best so like most of their customers I'll be going to Domino's.
