Best coffee I’ve had in Whitley bay and the bread, sandwiches, pastries and cakes are all excellent. Seriously impressive, I can’t wait to come back and try more!

This bakery is worth trying! It’s fabulous, they sell variety of bread and cakes. I’m just disappointed that I haven’t discovered that amazing place sooner 👍🏻 they make uniquely delicious cinnamon rolls that you’ve never had before! Go ahead and give it a go, you’ll undoubtedly fancy it 😍💓

The sourdough bread is an absolute must if you want delicious, home made, gorgeous tasting bread that is reasonably priced.The bread didn’t make it more than two days as we ate it so quickly. Making toasties and have just bread and butter it was absolute heaven on a plate and the pictures do not do it justice. Thanks so much!!!! A fantastic asset to Whitley Bay.

I can't help but marvel at the deliciousness of cinnamon rolls! Baked products are excellent! Tote bag is very thick👍

PureKnead is one of the best things about living in Whitley Bay. I just can't seem to get there quick enough to get everything I want, because everyone in town knows that this is where you get the good stuff and things do sell out. Their sourdough is gorgeous, as are all of their cakes - the brownies, the cinnamon knots, everything I've tried has been excellent. I love their little fridge-full of goodies that they've recently added; homemade pesto, soup, and other unexpected delights. They make a great latte as well.

Lovely place with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good selection of hot and cold drinks, prices also very reasonable. The coffee is great as is the gluten free chocolate torte, which I highly recommend. We will definitely be coming again in future

Lovely bread. Hummus is nice too. Apparently the cinnamon rolls are excellent but I haven't managed to get my hands on a vegan one yet (they do them sometimes!) so I can't confirm. A little on the pricey side but worth it. They also sell out pretty fast, so make sure you get there early!

I ordered my daughter's 18th Birthday Cake with Paula via email. Response was always quick and very helpful with ideas. On collection Paula gave me a little look before securing it in a lovely gift box and also lots of advice on keeping it fresh.The cake itself was stunning and so delicious even the staff at the restaurant commented on how lovely it looked.Perfection from start to finish. Stunningly delicious! I feel very lucky enough to live just around the corner from this awesome bakery! This morning, I tried their sausage roll and pastel de nata - both of which were delicious! The sausage roll is definitely better if you can catch it fresh straight out of the oven (but what isn't, right?). Everything I've had from PureKnead is beautiful - can absolutely recommend!

Everyone at PureKnead is just amazing! They did the best job of our wedding cake - it was absolutely perfect, just what we asked for! We had loads of comments on how beautiful and delicious it was. The price was also really excellent value. Thank you so so much!On top of that - the food and coffee inside the cafe is delicious and excellent value too. Have eaten there a couple of times and cannot wait to go back in the new shop!
