Rendezvous Cafe in North Tyneside

Well run, spotlessly clean and a very good cappuccino. Lovely views of the sea to top it off.

Traditional café, on the sea front, large, spacious and clean, lovely sea views, good access with pay parking close by. Dogs allowed. Limited choice of hot sandwiches, selection of cold sandwiches, cakes and drinks. No apparent vegitarian or vegan food.

Lovely cafe by the sea! Nice friendly service. There was no dairy free alternatives so I'm not giving 5 stars. Otherwise, a great place to stop for a hot drink and a bite!

I stopped here on a really wet and windy day in March. A lovely friendly welcome and a latte and a slice of Victoria sponge...... Delicious

Excellent cappucino. Asked for red hot, that's what I got. Nice and warm inside. Takes you back to childhood seaside visits looking at the decor. Great staff. A good selection of food. As many dogs in as people. Always stop by when we visit. Could see this being used in a film set in the late 50s.

Lovely little cafe where you can take time out watching the waves while having a bite to eat and a coffee or two.

Rendevous Cafe service at it's best again. A queue at the window with a wait while people place quite large orders. Meanwhile inside there's no body queuing. Makes sense to go inside doesn't it? But oh no, even though staff are standing doing nothing, they instruct you to go back outside and waste your time queuing. The customer service here is so poor.

Excellent location and ideal for a quick drink and a snack. An iconic building for beach lovers and fans of the TV series Vera.
