Royal Chef Chinese Takeaway in North Tyneside

I can't have onion or garlic at present and the staff are lovely at helping me. Food is lovely, at least the house special chow-mein anyways. Only downside is I didn't seem to get char su pork this time but chicken and prawns so moist and cooked to perfection. Beef a little overdone.

Staying in North Shields for a couple of nights. So glad I chose this take away. Special chilli and garlic chow mein is amazing. Very generous portions too. Happy customer. Sesame prawn toast, very greasy though

Good selection and food is so tasty I've been going here for years

This is the 1st time i have ever visited this place a small disappointment on being told 15mins and was almost 30mins and i was 1 of people still waiting for there ordered food on reflection on that occasion the quality of the food was top quality very impressed and would try this place again ans hope there timing will have improved

We have been ordering from this takeaway for around 3 years now. Wouldn't change it, lovely house special fried rice, sweet& sour mix balls, chicken wings in honey sauce delicious too.Food is always well cooked and hot when collected. We always pay in cash but they should have a card payment option would be very handy .

Royal chef is quickly becoming one of our favourite takeaways! The service is always friendly, there is occasionally a language barrier so making a list is recommended. When you have modifications needed to a dish, for example no bean sprouts - it comes in handy. Food is always fresh tasting and never takes too long to be prepared.Overall, we have never been disappointed by the food or the service here.

Ordered food from here many times not a problem really nice, ordered Chicken balls for my son and they were pink (undercooked) no refund and no apology. All they said on the phone was that they are cooked twice and it would be impossible for them to be undercooked. Wont be ordering from here again. Will be seeking advice from food hygene.

Great food! Nearly authentic Chinese dishes which is nice since I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Highly recommend the sweet & sour soup, crispy noodles and tofu/bean curd (available in a variety of sauces).
