Salutation Inn in North Tyneside

Awesome pub in a beautiful location and the drinks are super tasty. Staff are really friendly and helpful.If you’re lucky enough to be in this part of the world then you need to pop in for a pint and some food!

Always a great pint, love coming here with the dogs. The team are so friendly all the time. They can’t do enough for you!

Visited the Sal. on a busy Friday night with friends. Great selection of beers and all the bar staff were working their socks off (particularly Saskia).

A good selection of beers that should suit most people. The pints we had were all well kept and everyone enjoyed their meals. Although not the finest, the food was more than adequate. No complaints about the service either. The server was jolly and efficient. We will return.

This pub was the best for a cheap pint....not anymore, they've put the price of a pint of Carling up by 40p, yes 40p. May as well go to a decent pub in the village as the prices are the same, we'll not bother with the Salutation anymore.

Busy but staff cleared a table at 5.30 so we could eat. Lots of people coming and going and a good few hanging on into the evening. A range of ages from Teens through to pensioners ordering drinks and meals. Food is tasty and plentiful.

We went for mothers day a gift 'prosecco brunch' from my daughter and we were well impressed.The Sal pulled out all the stops for the mothers, tables set out with flowers, chocolates and water in a private area. Food, prosecco and cocktails as much as you wanted but the diamond was the young girl looking after us, she was lovely and worked very hard for us all. Thankyou Sal and the young lady made my day

I’ve been to the Sal a few times and it’s definitely the go to place for a night out. The wide choice of ales and the 2 4 1 cocktails in particular makes the place stand out from any other pub. All members of staff are always friendly and work their sweat off to make sure all customers leave with a smile on their face.

Food was amazing, if I ever go to Tynemouth again this is the only place I will be eating. Everything was clean and tidy, the staff were polite and friendly, everything you want.
