Shampan in North Tyneside

Really good food at a fair price! Portions are generous.We had takeaway, the staff was very friendly and the food was packed well for walking. We waited a short while for our order and the staff chatted us up, folks in the place were having a great time.Rice was fluffy, we had a few kinds of naan and korma (chicken and king prawn), and onion rice. All of it was great.

Well what can I say. Its very difficult to write anything bad. Food was amazing and I mean truly amazing. Service was first class. I normally try to find something I can pick at but this was genuinely the best Indian meal I have had ever. Very high praise. So if you haven't tried this place I suggest you do.

Beautiful food, Amazing service, fantastic venue, very busy, went at 6pm to get a table. it was my husband’s birthday and they put happy birthday confetti on the table, which was a nice touch, they have even won an award 🏆

Not going back we were rushed at the end of our meal on Thursday evening they started changing table clothes before we left the table our orders weren't severed correctly I had my curry 10 mins before my rice arrived & anther 5 minutes before my nan bread. I was overcharged for the cocktails not a happy night at all

Went with friends for the Thurs night special, food as always was delicious but it felt a little rushed like they wanted the table back, I did mention this to our sever who then relaxed a little. Lovely atmosphere but packed to the rafters, lots of birthdays going on

Wow, this restaurant is fabulous. Decor is beautiful. The food is delicious - even the poppadoms were the best we've tasted; super light and crisp. I'm not a hot curry lover (wimp) so chose the Chicken Bernisal, sweet and full of flavour - outstanding. All 7 of us agreed the food was amazing. The staff were lovely; attendant but not intrusive. When they found out one of us was celebrating a birthday they went all out with cake and sparklers. Complimentary shots were a great end to the evening. Highly recommend.

Ordered from the takeaway menu and collected in person. When I arrived and paid for my takeaway, I was offered a complimentary chocolate and half a lager while I waited in a nice little corner of the restaurant beside the bar, which was a really nice touch.Whether you are eating in the restaurant or taking out, the quality is always first class.Would highly recommend and for me, this is the best Indian restaurant in Whitley Bay.

There’s not enough words to describe how amazing this place is, drinks upstairs to the food downstairs. Best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service was fast, never waiting long for food or drinks, staff extremely professional and friendly. Best place to go for a date night
