This is an award winning restaurant and its not surprising. We don't eat out often but come here once or twice a year. We are treated like regulars. Great food, superb friendly staff and a nice relaxed vibe about the place. You can even see the sea from the upstairs tables. Can't wait to go back. Always a pleasure.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend, and I'm really pleased I asked. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was amazing. Also chatted to the owner whilst having coffee. We use a lot of Indian restaurants but this one was certainly five star. Highly recommended.

Celebrating my parents 50th Golden wedding anniversary tonight and was blown away by the MOST attentive and friendly bunch of staff, couldn’t do enough for us and made the night even better! Thank you so much Shikara, we will be back again! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Was visiting the area and fancied some Indian food along with my daughter. We didn't have much and she tried the vegetable masala. The food was nice as a takeaway, but would have been nicer to eat in and tried other dishes. If you are in the same situation as we were I'd say worth a try and you should not be disappointed.

Food was excellent ànd staff very willing, but we were given 4 glasses with dirty marks and lipstick marks. They were replaced once notified. The music was a little too loud which made conversation for me very difficult to hear. Shame.

I only had a takeaway. It is easy to order either on line or by phone. Staff really friendly and helpful when asking questions about the different spices within the meal. I had one of the Thursdays night specials. The starter was a mixed kebab and the main was a chicken ceylon plus side dishes. The flavours were delicious and intact I had to leave some for the next day. I'd recommend anyone to give it a go👍

Did a take out for 10. Excellent appetizers and main dishes that were just the right amount of spiciness. Definitely can recommend if in the area
