First time in this bar as it didn't exist last time we were down at the quay. A lot of thought has been put into the decor. It has a lovely big outside area maybe in the warmer weather we can sit out when next visiting the area. The menu also looked good with big portions. I would definitely recommend trying this bar

1st time visit will definitely be back. Lovely food, couldn't finish. Had the meat sharing plate and a mac 'n' cheese !

Great food … seriously good! You may think a little over priced but actually it’s well well worth it. And the service (awe were there on an afternoon and it wasn’t too busy) was very good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love this place .Food and atmosphere are great.Duck fries are a particular favourite and the muscles are fab too.We also have the fish platter which has battered fish pieces ,prawns and pot of muscles and fries too.Everything we have ate up to now has been excellent.

Called in for a coffee and a afternoon sandwich with chips after being recommended. First visit and we were not disappointed. The food and ambiance were very good and the staff are friendly polite and professional. The place is spotless. Includes the doggy bag we took home as too much for us to eat

When I wanted to visit first I attempted ringing 14 times in the space of a couple of hours, no answer. I thought to myself “if the team is incapable of picking up a phone, I don’t think I want to know what the service is like!”…and I was right. The service is practically nonexistent. You pay and order at the bar, you sit yourself down (yup, we were told to just go and find a space), you have to remind the waiters for cutlery, extra bowls etc etc. It’s basically self service! The first time I went with a group of friends, everything was alright and the food was absolutely delicious. My friend had the mussels and they were absolutely irresistible so I felt I have to try them.Came back just for that dish, this time with my bf and another friend. We were told there will be an hour wait for the food, we weren’t too fussed about that. After an hour or so the dishes arrived with 15min gaps in between each one (so we didn’t eat together) and one of the mains was missing, which then took them another 30min to make. So in total, one of us was waiting for their food for over two hours. The bill for that dish was comped, but you could tell none of the waitresses knew what to do really. My last visit? Probably the most disappointing one. Once again, I came for the mussels and my partner has been dying to try the prawns. As always, the prawns weren’t available, even though we’ve seen them on others’ dishes! The food arrived quickly but the mussels were nothing like I remembered them to be. There was barely any sauce, and they were practically cold. I asked a young waitress whether the chef could just add more sauce to it and she couldn’t seem less bothered. She snarkly asked me if I want the bowl to be taken away, and at no interaction has she smiled or showed some customer service. My boyfriend had ordered the pasta pepperoni pizza…there was three little pastas visible on the pizza, so the dish was as a fraud.Basically, if you want to go to a seafood Nando’s (with even worse service), come to the ships cat! Will we be back? Most likely not.

One of our favourite places to eat. Can struggle to get a table inside though as it gets so busy. Delicious food and very accommodating when wishing to change a dish a little *lactose removed* has a fabulous selection of drinks too. The best place to eat on the quayside

Great location with loads of parking close by in a free car park. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food. The waitress Milly was very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend and will visit again.
