Good food, great value. Good Indian draught beer. Staff were attentive. Nice surroundings. I'd definitely go back.

A favourite go to of ours but they have their off days.The good: the food is usually amazing, and the staff are great. Eat in or order out are both amazing quality and flavorful.The bad: the occasional slightly undercooked samoas.The ugly: none so farA great place to order from. Highly recommended.

Another great takeaway tonight, we’ve been going to Shukran for a few years and you can’t fault the food or service! Best Indian in North Tyneside by far.

Ordered take away. Food not great reheated chips that tasted sour very very sweet korma and not very creamy. Nan bread very small and not a garlic bread as ordered. Waitresses looked very miserable and hardly cracked as smile. True what they say you get what you pay for

I like this place. Fast becoming my favourite Indian food choice for delivery and restaurant. Seen a negative reviews on chips!! etc. Maybe Indian cuisine is not for you. Thumbs up and 5 star.

Maybe it was an off day but my meal wasn't great and the restaurant didn't live up to the glowing reviews. My onion bhaji starter looked very impressive on the plate but tasted of the oil it was fried it. All I could taste was oil and I had to smother it in mint sauce to hide the taste of oil. My main course - Chicken Tikka Madras - was very hot, just as a madras dish should be, but it was rather bland with no flavour apart from the peppery sauce. Service was very good and the price of the meal was very reasonable.

Snazzy little Indian restaurant right next the Whitley bay coast line. It has a stand out menu, one of the best I've ever seen. If your looking to try something new they have a fantastic special menu for dishes from around the world, from Mongolia to pakistan, all with varied ingredients and spices. And they have the classic Indian dishes that everybody loves with all the trimmings, from starters to deserts. Not only this it has fantastic deals on weekdays and weekends where you can save money; ours was 5 courses for £12.95, coffee or ice cream and sides where counted as a course, but still exceptional value. The staff were very friendly and the whole place was clean and looked modern. Will definitely be going here again.
