Love their oat milk and fruit smoothies. Dog friendly. Pleasant staff. Home made vegan cakes. Can definitely recommend a visit.

Amazing little cafe! It's all vegan and tastes amazing. I had the dirty iced chai with 2 shots that was delicious. My companions had an iced latte and the very berry smoothie- they loved them! And the food is divine as well. 10/10 cafe :)

It served very refreshing smoothies and cotton brownies. Great place for a short break after a beach walking. Highly recommended. Staff (maybe the owner) very nice with good service ethics. Keep it up! Too bad it was a short one for me (reached near closing time). Totally a vegan shop.

My first visit since they moved from Tynemouth Station. A much better premises for their ever popular vegan offerings. Sparkling clean and inviting, seating inside and out, and a tempting array of muffins (for instance) but I took away their lusciously moist brownies with mini marshmallows on top to share with (and impress) friends up the coast 😀 😋

Nice cosy cafe with delicious vegan treats and great coffee. This is a must if you are in the area. Highly recommendable!

Been in several times since Square Roots opened in Monkseaton and have enjoyed everything we have tried. Today we had a delicious mixed berry smoothie...yum!

Love this cafe 💕 100% vegan which is amazing. Food and drinks choice are unique and the food quality is fantastic. Staff are so friendly and give great advice on vegan products. Also sell lots of vegan items which you can't always find elsewhere. Well done square roots for doing a great job for us vegans.

Everything we bought was fantastic - sweet potato falafel panini, steakless pasty, cheese and leek scone, lemon and courgette cake, hot chocolate and hot biscoff. We know we could take non-vegans there and they would be extremely happy too.Also a lovely gesture that they gave us a free mini hot chocolate for our toddler.Would highly recommended to anyone and everyone.

Lovely, cosy vegan cafe inside Tynemouth station. Offers a great selection of homemade food, all of which look very tasty, fresh and healthy. The coffee was lovely, with a good variety of milk alternatives on offer. To eat I had homemade muesli with fresh fruit and almond milk which was absolutely gorgeous, I had no idea muesli could taste so good!!
