Breakfast was one of the worst I have had. As soon as you arrive you are asked what you want without seeing a menu. I went for the cooked breakfast. A third of the order was missed off, the beans were cold, eggs watery and the bacon well for the first time in my life I couldn’t eat it. Not sure if it wasn’t cooked correctly or because it was the cheapest they could find. Bring your own machete for the sausages. Coffee is from a machine, it is worse than those cheap 1980s coffee vending machine.

Well presented decor, sensibly priced food and drink and excellent service. Food was piping hot and tasty. Would advise booking as Saturday night was full up until maybe 9pm.

Fantastic staff and swift service. No problem when we wanted to change tables. Food was delicious and can highly recommend the smothered chicken.

Really enjoyed the food and service, set in a modern estate just off the A19. Food was tasty and the premier Inn breakfast is also served here

Horrible and rude.Took my 84 year mother 11. 35 am on a Saturday. Stood waiting over 5m whilst staff around us no one else waiting - not great as she's very unsteady on her feet.Eventually we were 'told' that there was no service until 12 as they were too busy clearing breakfast...as if we were inconveniencing them. And told we could not buy a coffee or a drink until 12!!! This is a pub !! Tone was quite nasty so we left. Don't worry Holystone Park ...we won't inconvenience you again...leaves a bad taste.

I thought because it was easter 17th April 2022 we would go to Cookhouse and Pub holystone. As we have the grandaughter for the weekend as my daughter is at a hen party in Liverpool. It was meant to be a treat for us as well. But boy oh boy what a dissapointment the food was cold the gammon was just like pieces of bacon the roast potatoes we chewy and my carrots were raw and the stuffing was hard as nails. The next table to ours felt the same and one of the diners didnt get there meal till all of them were finish there dinner she was a child disgusting we complaint and just paid for our grandaughters meal which was okay. We will never go back as in the past it was spot on we should have been given desserts free but my husband said if the dinners were bad the desserts might be shocking as well so we didnt bother never never again.

We haven't been in for a couple of years due to you know what but I'm pleased we did today. Our server was attentive, but not pushy and very friendly and pleasant. He made a change in my husband's meal with no query at all and double checked our order. The food came out within 10-15 mins and was piping hot, not lukewarm like other establishments. I had one of the best curries I've tasted, plenty of chicken and full of flavour. They have a good choice of non-alcoholic drinks for those who don't drink or are driving, a nice change from the usual offerings of fruit juices and pop elsewhere. It's reasonably priced too for the quality of the food. The atmosphere is relaxed, though it was late afternoon when we went so not too busy. Overall, an excellent choice if you want a relaxing couple of hours out and we recommend it to couples and families alike

We went for a meal here again and it was lovely. I think the people working there are nice and nothing is too much trouble. I like how your not having to go up and down to the bar to order, as it’s all table service. The food is tasty and freshly cooked, spoilt for choice and desserts are good if you have room still. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This is a pub we call into occasionally if we're in the area. Always find the staff very helpful and friendly. The beer garden is brilliant on a sunny day and much larger than it looks as it goes around the side of the building. Prices for both drinks and food are about average compared to other places, burgers are good. Well worth a visit if you're in the area or want to try somewhere different.

Just had a lovely festive lunch with friends. Prawn cocktail , turkey then slow gin trifle. My friends had pate ,steak & after eight mint sundae. Everything was delicious & because we ordered in November we got a free bottle of prosecco .All this for ÂŁ13:99. The service was excellent ,very pleasant staff & nicely decorated dining room. Needless to say we will be returning soon.
