Busy little place not a lot of choice on the breakfast menu bit expensive for what you get friendly staff

·

Amazing staff as always! They were great with my 3 year old too making her a steamed milk on request. Would highly recommend

Went in for a vegan breakfast and the only option they have is avocado on toast. Drove all the way down to find out they were out of avocados and didn’t have any other Vegan options. This is the second time this has happened. Really disappointed. Might be an idea to have 2 options incase one runs out 🤷🏻‍♂️

Awesome little surf cafe… they do a great oat milk flat white to goReally want to return for food and stay a little longer 🤙🏼

East Coast burgers were lush, never fail to disappoint! Parmesan truffle fries were absolutely lovely, and a huge bowlful! Reasonably priced drinks and excellent atmosphere with a good choice of background music. Staff are so friendly. Love this place.

Dog friendly. Great coffee. We love the burgers and the kid's chicken nuggets were delicious and fought over by my 9 year old son and husband. Great music, not too loud. Outdoor seating available with great views over longsands.

This place is legendary! Food&coffee is sooo good! Came here several times and all was great (burgers, truffle fries). The outside garden view is breathtaking just over Long sands beach. But what's so extraordinary about the place is their friendly staff and their support of the local music scene. Cant wait to be back!

Great coffee and food, dog friendly too, awesome interior. Only reason for not leaving 5 stars is because of the wait for for 2 bacon and egg sandwiches. Maybe pre warn people if there is a 30 -40 minute wait.

Lovely friendly staff. Quick service. Nice ambience and great decor, good music, clean. Great flavours of very well crisped fries with truffle oil and parmesan. But way too much salt on them. I could feel them being covered in dust of fine salt all over. I kept eating thinking maybe it was just top layer, but they seemed to have been tossed in salt through and through. So much that the skin on my lips ended up feeling agitated/salt burned afterwards. It'd be better if I could add it myself to my liking or rather if they added pepper to accompany parmesan. Not salt. Parmesan in itself is a tangy cheese enough. Giving four stars in hope that it was an unnoticed error rather than deliberate atrocious over-seasoning on the only food I had on my first visit. Thanks tho for a pleasant service.

We’ve wanted to visit Tynemouth Surf Café for a little while now and we had a fantastic visit. It gets quite busy when the weather is good, but we waited around 10 minutes and a bench came free outside which was great.I ordered the Creole Shrimp Po’ Boy, which was so tasty. The shrimp were a really decent size and were juicy. I really liked all the flavours and the avocado tasted really fresh. I’d definitely visit again to try something new on the menu. Love this place!
